Cheer up, the worst is yet to come
DeWalt doesn't make hand tools. I do have DeWalt power tools already.
Duct tape is the only tool you should need. Come on man!

Headed to Pitt on Friday.
The lifetime guarantee is what I buy them for. Break a tool, take it to Sears and they replace it, no questions asked. Matco, Snap-On and Mac have similar guarantees but they don't have retail stores, so unless you work at a shop where those trucks deliver to, it is difficult to get tools replaced.Does Mill's have Stanley tools? I don't remember. Either way, Craftsman hand tools are just re-branded Stanley tools without the convenient Sears/Craftsman guarantee.

This is going to be a ling flight back

This statement is false. You need duct tape and WD-40. If it moves and it's not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move and it's is supposed to, WD-40.
There's a Schaeffer's Penetrating Lubricant that is the best I've seen, but it is very hard to find, I'm not sure if its even made anymore. That's unfortunate.
PB Blaster is better than WD-40, IMO.

Better take a closer look at Sears, Craftsman is more and more China junk. F'in garbage. And Craftsman > Stanley. I won't buy Stanley.
But they still replace everything, no questions asked.Better take a closer look at Sears, Craftsman is more and more China junk. F'in garbage.
This is going to be a long flight back
So what's next? As cheesy as it sounds, is there something positive that can be done to fix/remedy the situation? Do you get another chance? This is going to be a ling flight back

Good luck!I will be looking into it next week. My lead thought that I could reapply as an off the street, but isn't sure how the 31 year age limit plays in. If it's possible he strongly encouraged me to reapply.
For now, but I'd rather finish the job than run to sears to replace broken garbage. They still have some NOS that's made in the USA, but their China crap is just thatBut they still replace everything, no questions asked.
