This next week is going to go very slow. All 5 days in the office and a bunch of stuff to look forward to next weekend. Oh well. At least the gf is back in town so I'll have some company when I'm not at work.

gd f**ING DRYER IS ON THE FRITZ AGAIN!! I have 5 loads of laundry and it dies. AGAIN!! I do not have anytime this week to wait around for the bloody repair person to fix the bleeding thing. I am NOT HAPPY !!!!!! :mad:

This. Including a not-a-date on Friday, possibly. A buddy wanted us to meet and see what happens, but I'm 99.9% sure I'm not interested in that way (we've been talking for a while). However, she does seem pretty cool, and hey, what's the harm in gaining a friend?

I have an is-a-date on Friday. Taking the girl out for a nice dinner, and maybe going to see a movie also.

And as my dad says: Friends are just more people I have to buy drinks for.

Also, my sister and her boyfriend are in town next weekend, and they're planning on meeting us at the bar on Saturday night. So who all will be there? So far I have: me and gf, my sister and bf, brent, MNS, and 'diva. Am I missing anyone?

I haven't asked either of them. We should mention it to BPH, mel, dx, LWB and some of the others from GPL also, but since its memorial day weekend, people might be busy. If any of the others around here want to meet up, let us know. Oh, we're talking about next Saturday night, BTW.

I have been talking with BPH, and he is going to try and show up on Sat, but no promises. I did mention it on the GPL board (since half the people know who he is, it seems like). I know LWB/hubby know about it.

While Scotland would be awesome, the multiple trips to Green Bay and Fargo make it a break even (at best) situation. ;)

I was on a not-a-date adventure a few months ago. She clearly misconstrued the meaning. Yeesh. She tried to give me the address to her blog and pointedly told her that wouldn't be necessary since I don't read blogs, I find them pointless. This woman had been trying to get me on a date for a while, but she knew I wasn't interested. Then she wanted to meet up as "friends," since I told her I wasn't interested in anything more, but she must have built up something else in her head. I found out through mutual friends that she said the whole night was a disaster for the simple fact that I flat out told her that I wasn't interested in her blog. My buddy told me this with a smile that he was thinking to himself as she said these things, "Yup, that's [St. Clown]."

Wow. I think the Woman Rule was in play there....;)

Eh, if this goes bad, so be it. It's not like I know her in the first place. ;) And my buddy already said no biggie if we don't get along (I've known him for about 20 years, so I think it's ok to trust him :D)

Edit: bbdl: diva and GLM's girl have blogs. I don't want those images in my head!
