Made salmon for dinner. I don't think I cooked it long enough.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #149 - Best adaptation of a movie title-and the lodgie goes

My dinner was called "Grand Cajun Seafood Platter" it was tasty.

I hope you intentionally spelled Pheonix that way. If so, props to you. But...Wichita, Tulsa and Jamestown would be hellholes to travel to.

I'm guessing he didn't because he didn't spell Bismarck right either. :D

There's also a guy in my class going to Tulsa.

We are now the most senior tower class at the Academy as the class ahead of us had thier final evals today.

Good evening Lodge.

Salmon rare is fine. Very rare is sashimi. They charge extra for that.

ETA: I think the worst domestic travel I had was to Pecos, TX. Hell to get to, no decent food, not a single pretty woman that I saw in my three trips there.

We took jr to tour another school today (Holy Angels for the locals). They wear uniforms there, sorta - not real formal and lots of variations. For all the talk in movies and such, this whole "high school girls in pleated skirts" really does nothing for me. Maybe you need to be a worse pervert than me to have that kind of interest.

Where do you think he will go to HS?
BTW - the Theater at AHA is really amazing.

The theater program looks amazing at AHA. I like a lot about that school. I think they have a lot more options in their curriculum.

I think he'll be at BSM though. I just hope they've raised their academic standards since they gave MNS his diploma though. :p

Both schools have so much more support for the students than the public schools that it is not close to comparable. I've concluded that Edina students do well in spite of the teachers and administration, not because of them. I think that's probably the case with all public schools.

Speaking from experience proofing his 80 page senior design paper, it was not intentional. That would also mean he was witty.

After sitting through 11 hours of training, do you think i really care about the spelling?

Domestic for me would be Wichita, Tulsa, Colorado Springs, Pheonix, and the place I most fear: Jamestown, ND because we fly into Bismark, the thought of MNS in charge of my plane scares the 5hit out of me :D

I hope you intentionally spelled Pheonix that way. If so, props to you. But...Wichita, Tulsa and Jamestown would be hellholes to travel to.

Dude, you can go for a ride in a real stagecoach in Jamestown, pulled by a real horse! And they have the world's largest buffalo (statue)! There's fine burgers and fries at the Polar King, and there's good authentic Chinese at China Garden. What's not to like!

(Note: My family was there in 2006, so things may have changed. Plus, our expectations were bupkis, so we couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised. :o)

At least you know jr will get into UND - though I think they send acceptance letters to every HS senior in MN. :p

So I delved into the hotel sites for the F5 next year. First up, Holiday Inn across from the X. Zero rooms available (they pulled this trick last year for the F4). Um, I call BS, but remembering the jerking around that I went through last year, I decided not to pursue further. Went and checked out the Crowne Plaza, a couple blocks away. Nicer hotel, too. Boombooked from Wed night-Sun morn, and for a decent price (about $700 for 4 nights for a two-bed room).

Holiday Inn (that location) can kiss my rosy red arse.
