Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

I left work early, went grocery shopping for the tailgate and spent the last 2 hours prepping food for the tailgate. Gonna have some good stuff to grill up! (hopefully it all turns out) Supposedly Shirtless Guy is getting a bunch of techies down for the game and promising them a cheap trip (help with tickets, free food, free lodging) so I made enough to make sure I made plenty of stuff, in case a bunch of hungry college kids from Houghton show up. Plus, I bought beer.

The only thing I need to do is pick up ice tomorrow morning for the cooler. Otherwise, I have my KBC, a couple bottles of the Russian Jet Fuel (for anyone who wants them), and a fat stack of tickets to deliver. I'll bring your Holm ticket, too.

Did you get Mr. wore Black's too?

Dinner at the g pad tonight consisted of grilled NY Strip, potatoes (diced up and addded some onions and butter and seasoned and grilled) and broccoli and cheese.

I made english muffin pizzas. They were yummy. Hadn't had them in a while.

I hate n00b season. Especially when they're fans of your school.

No kidding. That's why I love GopherPuckLive's policy of not allowing new registrations once the NCAA tourney field is set until the tourney is over. Keeps out the trolls.

I bet there'll be buyers. It's a good field this year.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

No. All my contacts failed me.

Ok, DON'T sell the Friday night ticket or the champ game ticket, I will use those.

Try and get $15 each for the afternoon tickets and $25 for the Thursday night ticket (or $50 for all three), usually someone at the tailgate needs a single.

Since MTU fans are typically some combination of either broke or cheap, sell them brent's 3 upper deck tickets for $30 and he can have the lower bowl seats.

I remember the 2007 F5, I had 14 tickets to each game and the UND-MN final tickets were going for well over face on the street.

Some guys BEHIND us in 211 bought theirs for $50 each, I remember that much.

Ok, now finally done with my food stuff. I've been cooking stuff all night, and I didn't even eat. Now I'm not even hungry after messing with food all night. Oh well.

I have about 60 bacon wrapped pieces of walleye, 50 bacon wrapped pieces of marinated ribeye steak, 2 dozen Jamaican jerk wings and about 2 dozen marinated pieces of pineapple, all to grill to at the tailgate.
