Yeesh, good luck finding something new goldy, hate hearing about people getting laid off.

On the 'new' boat in Beaumont TX waiting to load and head east to Baton Rouge. Seems like a good group of guys on here, hopefully it will be some fun.

Ouch, that sucks. Too bad that speed limit increase to 75 didn't help much. ;) Yes I realize that's only north of Orono.

It's like I'm an Internet jerry springer. Invite the guests on stage and break for commercials!

(les, 80% of them come from the father of a friend of mine from high school. 1 out of 10 I read and pellet bck how something is wrong... He'll respond that he didn't know that and will look it up. Then thank me. I figure I'm keeping him away from his wife, so Babs [her name] owes me ;) )

Sorry to hear that. My company may be in market for mechanical engineers, I know that they keep saying we're hiring a bunch of people, though I don't think your specialty aligns with what we do, but if you don't mind, we probably won't.

Does your company have a need for a BS chemical engineer/ MS Atmospheric Science with an emphasis in air quality/environmental chemistry? I've decided that I can't get the * out of Iowa fast enough. This place is a giant black hole of suck. If anything is availible email me.

Not really, we hire very few chemical engineers, and probably no one that does work with atmospheric science. The chemical engineers that we hire have a very specific specialty in emissions and aftertreatment, and I really don't have any exposure to that group. Sorry.

Darn, I can do emissions, it's really the same thing just at higher T & P and without any light and at a much shorter time period. Oh well.

Is the pike closed-toll or open-toll? I would think if it's closed toll they could at least bump the limit to 70, given that's what they did in Ohio with the pike there.

Closed. Wasn't even on the pike though just route 302.
