their princess. they feel as though they've lost something great through a tragic event. what was princess di? an oversexed divorcee who did nothing other than marry a prince. i'd pick whitney was more accomplished or talented or whatever than diana. plus everybody knew of her - knows the story.

or when jfk jr dumped his plane? who cares.

so new jersey wanted to fly flags halfstaff? let people honor her as they want. slow news anyhow.

thinking that servicemen or women should get the same press for their loss is a pipe dream. that's gone on for so long it's like music in a waiting room. background noise. sad, but true.

Gmann...if you head to TK'S look for the black 92-93 North Stars Jersey (Brent) by the bar. End of the guitar...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

Fortunately for everyone concerned, if gmann had the s&ss on, it was completely covered by normal clothes and he left his beaver at his seat.

Pleasure meeting you and Mel and seeing gonzo and his better half.

This. I feel sorry for her as a human but why is everyone so jeeped up about this. SHe hasn't been in the news or on the radar fro some time.
She's just another in a long line of lost / wasted talents. If she didn't have a wreck of a personal life, she very well could have continued churning out hits and remained relevant / alive. Instead, she didn't make it to 50. It's rather sad, really.

So, some random girl wanted a pic of her in my MN Stars (Jon Casey) jersey tonight. It was odd.No she was not hot. Boo. But still fun.

Doritos crumbs in wisdom tooth socket. *panic ensues*

Just keep swishing around with salt water until it breaks loose. It will come out sooner or later, I had something stuck in there for a few days but just kept at it. No reason to panic just yet, besides do you need to go back to get stitches pulled this week or are they dissolvable?

*HT, OT loss to Cornell, snaps a 5 game win streak. Still in the hunt for a bye in the 1st rd, and very much in the hunt for home ice in the 1st round.

Morning.

Off to Target this morning to take advantage of a B2G1 deal on Vita games. But first, a stop at the coffee shop! :)

Met a really great girl last night... sadly she was on a date with a guy that I consider a creepy twit (not that he's a 'creep'... the guy frightens me because he's just off the beaten planet... once said "I play hockey, I'll sign your jersey if you want"... yeah he was drunk... but you don't touch another man's hockey jersey... I could drop him in a heartbeat if it came to it though).

Good morning Lodge. The positive side of me not throwing anything out was that I found the power cord of my previous Dell laptop and it works in my current Dell laptop. I had dropped my laptop a couple of months ago and the only thing that happened was the casing around the prong (?) that gets inserted into the laptop snapped and broke. That affected the wiring or something. That casing keeps the wiring straight. This morning I noticed I was on battery power even though it was plugged in. I really don't have the time to go to Best Buy today to get a new one and then I remembered I still had my previous computer stored. Sometimes it pays to be a hoarder. :)

Silver lining. :)

Good afternoon Lodge.

Made it back home this morning from cityslickerville.

Yesterday while Mrs. g was shopping at MOA I wandered into the Lego store. Cripes was that mistake as I spent a small fortune on Legos.

The boys and I have been playing with Legos the past few hours.

The last time I played with Legos was at least 30 plus years ago. They have changed a bit since then. I am not sure who is having more fun...............:)
