Pile Sunday. Founders' All Day IPA is pretty good.

Getting a point out of tRalph is OK, I guess. Hoping to get four points out of the Other Huskies for the first time since 1998 next weekend. ;)

Good afternoon Lodge.

Made it back home this morning from cityslickerville.

Yesterday while Mrs. g was shopping at MOA I wandered into the Lego store. Cripes was that mistake as I spent a small fortune on Legos.

The boys and I have been playing with Legos the past few hours.

The last time I played with Legos was at least 30 plus years ago. They have changed a bit since then. I am not sure who is having more fun...............:)
It's good to see that you were able to brave the difficult travel weather we've been having lately.

The Legos Millenium Falcon. I want one, and maybe the Death Star, too. I have a spare room or two; I could geek them out.

Not going to happen after the massive display of an eight-goal effort last night one something like 6 shots against the highly vaunted, very scary Seawolves.

This. Our favorite bartender treated us quite well last night. She didn't even high-five us when we showed up, she came from behind the bar and hugged us. :)

I assume you guys go to TK's quite often to get that kind of treatment.

Last year, it was about twice a month, this year we've only been there twice. The key is that we always went to the same bartender. Always. We kind of have a stable now, I'm guessing because of her telling the others that we kinda rule. ;)

Edit: similar to Scarlet/hottie bartender of hers.

On our 1.5 hour drive to see Mom in the hospital today, my 11 year old bro and I convinced our 6 year old bro to let us pull out his first tooth because of how happy it would make Mom. Hilarity & panic ensued, but we've increased the two-day ctf family pulled tooth count from 3 to 4!
Why didn't one of you video this to see it in action??

Man, haven't fooled around with those in ages. Think I still have two five gallon buckets of them down in the basement somewhere.... Good times.

Had a really interesting client yesterday. his leg was crushed in an MRI accident. It looked pretty nasty.

 How does that happen?

Some lackey parked a metal gurney too close to the MRI machine, and didn't set the breaks on it. They turned the MRI on and it pulled it across the room. It caught him on his leg and it pinned him there til they got it shut off. Got a hell of a hematoma there, could feel it still pretty deep into the quad muscles there, and I had to wear gloves for it because it broke the skin there as well, and it was all scabbed over to boot. He said it hit him so hard that there's a dent on the MRI from his leg and hip. And I saw this about a week after the injury has happened. Basically, it was if he had a 300 pound midget get a big head of steam and then cross checked him in the thigh into the endboards and hold him there. He had bruising on the other side of the leg as well.
Did kind of joke with him that it was a **** shame this didn't happen a month later. perfect excuse to go sit on a couch for a weekend or so watching March Madness.

Now that is what an incident report is for. That guy should be set for life financially (says the person who rarely thinks anyone should sue the medical pros)

What did you buy?

One of my projects for 1012 is to get those legos I want to keep assembled and sorted from everything else that I have. I've been shocked by the number of broken legos that I have found in my bins- I've been spending a fortune on replacing the broken and missing parts for some of the sets I want to keep.

For the love of God. This team will be the death of me.

City (harbor, police and fire fighter)

Pirate ship

A big bin of "regular" Legos

They are certainly trying to be the death of themselves! W T f is with them. I can't see that this much stuff has been swept under the rug for so long which means an aberrant group of guys right now.

Yeah, that wasn't a cheap trip. I'm amazed that some of my "vintage" legos are now selling for twice what they were going for in the stores when they were new.

I was gonna guess O2 bottle that some moran brought into the MR room. I've seen those reports before. One young kid got killed by the O2 bottle.

Before today I really had no clue about Legos. Now that I have spent most of the day assembling stuff I am very impressed with the product. F n a though, about a million tiny pieces that makes it difficult for little g to handle. It he is having a blast and I am quite sure that I will have a couple legomaniacs in the house.

Lego is Danish for "play well."

Awesome fine motor, dexterity and increased grip/strength! Lil has 2 tubs that are huge and masses of the instructions. My friend gave them to him. I still remember Mr les almost ripping what little hair he had on his head out trying to find all the little bits and pieces :D
