Another weekend, another broomstick HHT on a Saturday night, dammit! These guys are super streaky, lost their first handful, won a handful, lost another handful, won a few, lost a few, now back to winning 4 in a row.

Brent, two good games between two good teams. I wouldn't have bet $.10 on a Denver sweep before the series began. Still loots of meaningful hockey left for both teams this season.

I don't need a suicide hotline. I need an abuse prevention hotline. I'm at Mankato Meltdown 10 right now. I am severely restraining myself, for fear of neighbors calling the cops for a noise violation that sounds like a domestic.

You don't need an abuse prevention hotline. By your own admission you are severely restraining yourelf, therefore, you need a sexual deviance prevention hotline. Either that or a week to get ready for a two game home series against the Bemidjis. :D

Brent, There are two current trends for which I can offer no rational explanation. First is Minnesota's lack of success in recent years against Denver and the Pioneers having gone 10-2 in their past 12 games versus Minnesota.

Second is Denver's historic success in the Kohl Center versus Wisconsin. Denver seemingly wins as often in the Kohl Center as CC does when it comes to Magness Arena.

It seems at all level of sports certain teams play well against other teams or in certain venues for no apparent or readily discernible reason. I was hoping Denver would earn two points this weekend and by no stretch of the imagination did I ever expect the Pioneers to earn four points. By the same token I never expected Denver to lose a game at home earlier this season to Huntsville. When you get a bunch of 20-21-22 year old kids playing against each other sometimes the results don't make linear sense.

I know what you're doing here, and I appreciate it, I do. :) But lemme stew a bit. I guarantee, within the next 30-60 minutes, I will have forgotten about it. I vent quickly, and harshly, then I am done with it. ;)
