Watching the '02 title game on BTN, and in today's college hockey, that CFB that Taffe delivered with 10:45 remaining in the 3rd would be a 5 min major and game misconduct every single time.

Yays! bbdl looks like a bag of dicks. I feel capital. bbdl: "I'm a champ! I'm already drinking!" (which he is, I had one, too). Today should be quite fun. We probably will be kicked out of AmsOil Arena tonight, cowbell related. We plan to test the loopholes that security provided, due to an MTU Misfits issue last night.

They had a cowbell. It's only banned "during play" in NCAA games. Well, security deemed "during play" from first puck drop until final whistle. HOWEVER, tUMD student section had 5 cowbells. Security said that was okay, as it was "their arena." So, diva, as a resident of Duluth, is going to wear tUMD gear, and bang on a cowbell. And we will have rules printed out, in hand. This should be good.

I watched some of that, and I thought the same thing -- not on that hit, which I didn't see, but on other hits. Like right at the horn at the end of the 1st, that Maine player slowed up and just cleared the puck all the way down, and a MN player charged over and hit him with an elbow right in the ear hole. I couldn't believe that wasn't called. Anyway, amazing how much perception can change in 10 years.

If it wasn't for some high profile incidents/serious injuries, we would probably still be seeing a lot of those type of hits and non-calls. For all the criticism the NCAA gets on officiating, I think it's clear they got this one right when they chose to crack down on blows to the head/hits from behind.

Grrrrrr..... need to go get going to work here soon. headed in early to cover part of somebody else's morning shift. Sure do hope they hire another therapist sometime soon, they're kind of running us all ragged right now as busy as we have been.

Bondarenko is more attractive than Azarenka. With that said, I wouldn't turn down Azarenka. She probably doesn't get near as much attention as the Wozniackis and Sharapovas of the world.
