CC to the locals: Hockey Day at Chez Rube. After the MN-CC game, it's off to TK's.

Evening, Lodge. Anyone need any bread or rolls? I brought home a lot from class tonight.

Name names.....my money is on the Guvies. Hope it wasn't the Capitals...

You know, Grey, I didn't come here to point fingers. No! I'm here to talk about . . . America! :p

Actually I do feel a little awkward, now that I realize plenty of people here know these different programs. It was what it was, and me and the other coaches decided we'd take it to mean: Hey, how about that? That serious program had to first-line us in the 2nd half just to eke out a 7-6 win. We must be doing something right. :)

Supposed to be another day of 75 down here in cajun country. Stormy, but warm. We'll be getting out of town this am, back on the grind. Ugh, 8 and a wakeup now.

Morning.

A week without DirecTV and I am still alive. I must have been correct that I wasn't using it.

Today is the first day the government will officially accept and work on tax returns. Lazy bums, I had mine done a week ago!

My last dentist appointment of the decade is on Thursday. Yay for needles!

I don't know how you can do it so early. I haven't even gotten a single tax form back from a bank/work/student loan/etc.

I don't have a bunch of things that I need to deal with on my taxes, such as loans, houses, multiple jobs, etc.

My W-2's were available online from work by the 7th.

Morning Lodge.

When my accountant tells me the taxes are done, I sign the form and she sends it in. She usually tells me how much we are sending in too (we always owe money since we don't want to lend the gov't our money with no interest). Then we go to bed. :D

The only thing I have thus far is one 1098 form (student loan). Still waiting on W-2's, 1099's, 1098's, although I probably could start filling it in right now, as I'm able to get the information I need from statements, stubs, etc. Now I have to add foreign tax credit this year, not to mention they got rid of the Making Work Pay credit. Of course Schedule E is always fun (royalties).

And I still do my taxes by paper. And the state is trying to force people to file online (and mind you, you have to pay to do that).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

I always file online. I just think it is much easier, and worth the extra money. It usually only takes me 30 minutes to get everything done once I get all of my forms back from whoever sends them.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like all of this automation is making me go brain-dead.
