Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

Anyone in the Twin Cities interested in doing something tomorrow night? Also, brent, let me know what you decide to do on Saturday. I may want to meet up and watch hockey, like you mentioned a couple days ago.

I think it's Senser's (tradition, and enemy territory) or home. If people are wanting to go out, then the choice is obvious.

Meh on tomorrow, unless you don't want to go out tomorrow night.

Thanks all....she's doing very well. We went to a HS hockey game (CDH 4 MV 3) which was a tough environment but she did very well......and she's very tired.

She just turns me off. Literally. :D
Your daughter's sense of humor rocks! :D

Morning Lodge.

I think I may need to find a MT myself. No, mookie, not the kind with Happy Endings like you go to.

Aren't you two (Brent and bb) going to Crashed Ice this weekend? Should be lots of fun in STP with a concert at the X, sportsman's show at the River Center and ~60K there to watch Crashed Ice.

I'll be at a hockey tourney in Brooklyn Park.

ETA: My sister is not that bright. Her dog just died and I asked "how long did you have her" she replied "since she was 3 weeks old." That doesn't really tell me how long she had the dog unless she also said how old the dog was, now does it?

OK.

I'm not sure what I want to do tonight, I guess I'd probably want to go out if I do anything, but I'll probably be content staying home.
Tomorrow night a little band with a lead singer that goes by the name "Johnny Holm" is playing at the bar about a mile from my house, I'm really tempted to go out there. Maybe post-game.

Goldy: I want to go to Crashed Ice, but I haven't found anyone else that wants to go. Most are worried about traffic/parking/huge crowds.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

So I called and talked to Verizon last night about their data plans. The 4GB for 2GB price ($30) offer ends on Monday. Also you have to have a 4G phone in order to get that price, even though the data plans are no different than the 3G phones.

So I am stuck paying $30 for 2GB, not a bad price, but not as good as it could be. I won't be eligible for a upgrade discount until 8/30/2012, and the only Android 4 phone is a Samsung (i.e. crap). So I am just in a wait-and-see mode. I'm not buying another phone with an old Android OS on it (2.3.x).

I'm not too worried about that, as I anticipate putting a custom ROM on my next phone with an updated Android OS anyways. Ideally I'll be able to get an updated version straight from factory, but we'll see. Upgrading in April should give me something pretty 'fresh off the press' I would think, since new phones usually come out 3-4 times a year now.
