I'm doing some investigating on flights to Sweden, trying to get an idea of the best way to get there. If I search for flights from Minneapolis to the small town in northern Sweden where I have to go, it comes back with $3300 per ticket. If I search Minneapolis to Stockhom it is $700 per ticket, and if I search Stockholm to the small town it is $70 per ticket. The legs from Minneapolis to Stockholm are the same for both searches, but it doesn't find the cheap flight from Stockholm north when I search it all as one trip. There is some disconnect going on here...

Between you being an EMT, a nursing student, and planning a wedding on top of all that, you're under a lot of stress. Some of our best clients are nurses from either the UofM hospitals in Ann Arbor, and they usually feel like hell when they come in. Find yourself a good MT and figure on being there at least once a month. If they offer up a plan to get discounted sessions, Do IT!!
Is it necessary to get the 90 minute deep tissue every month? I realistically can't swing that. I could do a 30 minute rub every four weeks, maybe a 60 every 6 weeks, but that would be pushing it. Because I have select areas that need attention, would that help minimize my need for a longer session?

Excellent to hear, GE! It's amazing how far medical stuff like that has come, even in my 'short' lifetime thus far. Can't even imagine how much further it can go before they put me in a box.

Possibly starting to plan a trip to Tampa in mid-March if I'm home from work like I'm currently scheduled to be. Yanks spring training/condo searching/golfing with some buddies hopefully.

Maggie's implant was activated today.....and it works! Really cool stuff.

Great news!:D

Now she'll just have to ignore you all on her own without the excuse, like every other teenager!:)

I started going to an MT regularly back in September as part of an issue I have, one-hour deep tissue sessions that focus on my back, neck and shoulders, and I found the first session to be intense, something of an * kicking. Since then, I have not needed as much time on the table to accomplish the knots I need worked out. I still find myself going every two weeks for one-hour sessions, but that's mostly because I like not feeling tight. I'm pretty sure I could do it in much shorter sessions, or spaced further apart.

Thanks all....she's doing very well. We went to a HS hockey game (CDH 4 MV 3) which was a tough environment but she did very well......and she's very tired.

Great news!:D

She just turns me off. Literally. :D
