Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

Doesn't matter. Got confirmation from AA that it was a phishing e-mail so it's gone now (and deleted from my trash folder as well).

I once considered moving to the Tidewater area of VA but, while I could find jobs, they didn't want to pay me anything so we passed on that. My wife has relatives there and we did vacation in VA Beach once.

I got one this week from "US Postal Service" saying they'd tried to deliver my package but had a problem -- so now if you could please download the attached receipt and bring it to the nearest post office we can straighten it out. DELETE! Aside from not sending any packages recently, since when does the Post Office email receipts to customers on packages already sent and returned? I felt sorry for the poor 12-yr-old who came up with this virus. He's sitting there, thinking it's foolproof!!! :p

I hate it when repairmen don't come when they are supposed to.

Aren't you retired? You've got all the time in the world to wait! :p

True, but i wanted to go out for lunch. Anyway, he just called and will be here within 20 mintues. It's not between 8 and noon, but I shouldn't complain, he probably goes by Central, Mountain, Pacific, or Alaska Time. :)

Cooking up a couple of the Omaha steaks tonight. Letting them reach room temp at the moment. Since I don't have access to a grill, I will season and sear in a pan and finish in the oven.

That does sound good.

In my quest to eat better after two weeks of crap, crap, more crap and Chinese food, I made lentil soup yesterday. Enough to have for dinner last night, tonight and tomorrow night. Now I just need to figure out how to motivate myself to exercise more.

Tie martini in a sippy cup on stick. Attach stick to head, where martini is visible and out of reach. Run after it. :D
