I'd talk to some members of the board that are mutual friends in your situation. They do have some good tips. I'm looking at BPH, mel, etc.

Good Morning Lodge.

So I wake to find an e-mail from "American Airlines" notifying me about my ticket for a flight to Newport News, VA on Jan 17 with my ticket attached. I rarely ever have reason to fly American unless I'm going to Dallas or Chicago. I have no reason to go to Newport News in January. I could imagine someone from my company booking me a flight and telling me later why, but that would go to my work address, not home. I think I'm not opening this attachment until I call American.

Back at work for the first time since 12/16. I didn't miss it!

Newport News, VA is the ghetto. The complete opposite of what Goldy is used to.

It isn't VA Beach, but there are far worse places in the US. I have some family who live in the surrounding area (Uncle worked at NN shipyard until taking medical leave recently(and likely will be retiring, not entirely related to his medical issue though afaik))

Doesn't matter. Got confirmation from AA that it was a phishing e-mail so it's gone now (and deleted from my trash folder as well).

I once considered moving to the Tidewater area of VA but, while I could find jobs, they didn't want to pay me anything so we passed on that. My wife has relatives there and we did vacation in VA Beach once.
