Happy New Year, went to bed at 9 last night, what a party animal I am

Happy New Year, everybody. Stayed up much too late last night listening to Avicii (DJ) playing from pier 94 in NYC on Sirius radio, gonna need some caffeine to make it through this am.

Good Morning Lodge.

At least we have some snow (though not much) and it looks like the ice won't melt anymore for the next couple days. * hockey - didn't even bother with the table last night, went right to bed instead.

I'm now going to go cook some bacon (but not eat it - long story, it's for jr.).

But, you're wearing lederhosen.

No more cockamamie cigar smoke. No more Swedish meatballs there, tootsie. And no more phony Irish whiskey. No more goddam jerky beef! The party's over.

The party is indeed over. Time for a new year! Well, most of one, anyway. ;)

Good morning Lodge - Happy 2012. I have a cold. Totally congested. I need to head out to CVS to get some sort of cold medication. Blah. Not sure what else to do today. I didn't get that much sleep last night because I was so congested so I may take a nap - maybe during the Pats game so I don't jinx them! I have a couple of screeners to watch - Midnight in Paris and The Descendants. Maybe I'll watch those.

We've got that splotchy, sharp-edged ice hiding under our snow. That stuff's darn-near impenetrable!

Holy windy.

On the way to OC my Jeep was being pushed by the wind quite a bit. When the wind really gusted it was a little tough to keep it inside the lane.

Put the Christmas tree out by the curb early afternoon. Found it later at the end of the cul-de-sac, about 300 feet away up against a tree in a neighbor's yard.

Awwww, it was lonely!

It was pushing my ride around a bit as well coming home tonight. And it was a tad slick on US-12 between Saline and Clinton.

I can only imagine how bad it is in the flatland part of MN. Say, Hwy 7 on the way to Hutchinson for you locals.
