Just finished up opening gifts at the inlaws. My boys are not happy. Not one toy as a gift. A couple shirts and a couple pairs of pants and some pajamas. I must clarify my kids are not being ungrateful.........It's Xmas for cripes sake and my kids are 3 and 5. They want some toys and they were pumped to open gifts. Little g mentioned to me "why doesn't Santa like me?"

It is what it is. In a lame and warped sense this is the inlaws way of making a point about having to celebrate Xmas tonight versus 12/25.
I am going to take a deep breath and smile. As much as the inlaws are tempting Mrs. g and I into making a scene I/we won't be baited into making an issue out of this.

Was that an error or did they do that on purpose? Not to add kindling to the fire, but I can't imagine how that would be in error. It's not like boys and girls areas are easily mistaken in stores these days. If it was purposefully done, it's just sad that they'd be this spiteful towards the children. No, on second thought it's not sad, it's pathetic. "Sad" doesn't do it justice.

Why would anyone go to Monticello? Are you missing your mid-summer glow and thought that going to Monticello might bring it back? Because I can tell you, that's not the right type of glow.

I know the guy who owns the campground/trailer park up there (great guy, btw). It was always a fun time when we went. I'm curious as to what bar soh is at. I'm guessing the sports one on the "outskirts" of town.

Squirts moved to 7-0 today after a disappointing and embarassing performance.
I don't want to lose, but they kind of need it, they are never ready to go. Play Farmington tomorrow who should be a better test.

Tell the lils that your inlaws knew there were needy people that the lils would be wanting to help so they gave the PJs to them so they could give them to some kid in a shelter and then do it. The only thing the inlaws are doing is making it easier for your kids not to get sucked into their screwed-up-edness. Sad at the moment but it makes it easier than if they shower them with gifts and then you have to explain why you aren't involved with them. Say a big thank you!
