I am the kiss of death tonight. Came home and started watching the B1G10 Championship, rooting for the Spartans and now they're not going to win. :( Sorry Sparty fans.

We have a moderately heavy snow coming down still, been snowing since about 3 p.m. Probably four or five inches out there now. Finally feels like Christmas.

So now it's post season time for college football...it's the only thing getting me through this college hockey season...what do I do come January?:(

TimU and I were texting back and forth last night and pretty much said that if you guys can find a way to lose, it seems you'll find it. Tough looking forward to games when that happens, just go beat Union next weekend up north ;)

We may be having a season like Colgate had last year. There also is hope since the Freshman class contributes more and more each game, and that is clearly where the future of the team is. The question is if they will take over later this year or wait until next season.

I am also looking forward to next season's recruits, especially Mike Zalewski, as we need a forward with size who can put the puck in the net. I wonder how he escaped from CCT.

It could have been something intangible, maybe Roll played a part in choosing RPI over CCT, or something else.

I really think SLU is going to be "alright" this year (somewhere in that 5-9 spot) and will make a run at the top next year or the year after. We're still a pretty young team too, and won't be losing a ton of GOOD players again this year, pretty much all role players. We will be losing 2 goalies, but 1 hasn't seen much time at all, and Moss hasn't seen much more.

Hopefully this will turn around for y'all, but if it's a rebuilding year, I have no doubt Appert will have RPI back in the upper tier again real soon.

Breakfast has been served. Omlettes with everything on them. Coffee, french press style.

Looking forward to the Vikings game at they fine tune things for yet another deep run into the post season.

Morning, Lodge. Similar breakfast plans here... well, kind of. Homemade bacon, egg and cheese biscuits, and whatever coffee the gf is making. :o
