Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

Good Morning, Lodge!

How the hell does SCSU tie BSU 6-6? Seriously!?

Off to Ikea to buy knick-knacks.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

Good morning Lodge. Cold is now almost full-fledged. I have no voice (and not because I was yelling last night). Well, it's raspy. Some sneezing, coughing, Blah. I have plans to see my friend and his new baby today to drop off a gift. If I don't go today I don't know when I will. I will stay far away from the kid. And not stay long. Or touch anything.

Hi. Took a Rug Doctor to the carpet this morning. Now I have about two rooms that I can use.

Bacon and eggs for lunch.

Also, note for SOH and any other tuba/baritone players on the board: anyone going to TUBACHRISTMAS this year in Minneapolis? I have the day off (Dec. 11), and figured it'd be a fun time.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

That sounds exceptionally painful.

Afternoon, Lodge. The MOA is still insane, in case you were wondering.
The only way to get into that place at this time of year - or most weekends - is to go to the LRT stop a block or so away and either walk to the mall or take the train if you're exceptionally lazy or the weather's lousy. I drive by it on the way to weekend hockey and the exit ramps from 494 and 77 are backed up like it's über rush hour.

Parking wasn't too bad, but only since we got there a bit after the mall opened at 10 am. If I were trying to go now, especially with the snow, it would be a cluster.

Snow? I have not been following the weather for cityslickerville. How much is supposed to fall? Sunny and 70 here in 320ville. ;)

It's Always Sunny in 320delphia!

Looks like 1"-4" forecast, with the southeastern burbs getting more.

That sounds like a repeat of last year. I think Farmington got something like 12-16" more than the norther 'burbs last year. I was not a fan.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old
