Shouldn't that be dysfunctionville?

Good call.

For those of you keeping score from home...........mil, fil and bil only come around for grandkid birthdays and holidays. They are messed up more than ever. Sad state of affairs but mrs g and I are ok with it because we know we are doing the right thing.

We didn't do a 5-year. For our 10-year we got drunk, played golf, then went to the reunion, and drank some more. Our 20-year is next year, but I haven't heard a word yet.
I don't think my class did a 5th, but I believe they had a 10th over at somebodys house. I had a workshop that weekend and didn't go. Might show for the 15th if they do it. They got 3 years to figure that out I guess.

With the girlfriend right now, doing the turkey thing with her family and avoiding my own dysfunctional family.

Went to my 10th. Confirmed that I had no use for most of the people who wouldn't give me the time of day when I was there because I didn't wear the right brand of clothing and carry the right kind of purse. Now I am fairly successful and people will acknowledge me but if I wasn't they wouldn't bother. Haven't gone again. I hang with the people I like already. I have friends who love to go. To me it is like sticking a fork in my eye.

If you wanted to see those people, wouldn't you do it anyway?

Happy Thanksgiving everybody, not the first holiday I've missed while out on a boat, and it certainly won't be the last. Despite the rollercoaster of a year I've had, definitely still a ton to be thankful for. Hope y'all enjoy the day with loved ones and eat lots of turkey

heading out to annapolis about noonish... will try to snare a bottle of wine or something before heading out. In CVS we trust.

I went to my 10th and decided that was enough. The people I want to see and hang with i do. I don't need some stinking reunion to see people. :). Besides, I spend most of my time signing autographs. :)

You had to ask? :)

Just finished up eating. Mil put raisins in the stuffing. I love stuffing but I hate raisins.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

True. However, raisins in stuffing is like having cranberries in the gravy. It's not right.

I could deal with the raisins... lord knows my mom puts apples in the bread stuffing... cranberries though? no... I can't imagine a gravy with cranberries being any good
