I got offered 2 Gophers beating the **** out of the Sioux tickets for next Saturday, for face value. I was going to take them, but now I'm thinking I might be back towards the farm next weekend...damm, I have too much **** going on.

And why the **** am I still awake? I'v been awake for effing ever.
I'd be highly interested in those tickets, bro!

Not sure why I'm awake either..leaving here around 8 to tailgate up in Minneapolis before we hopefully win Floyd back!:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 138: HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY!

Morning, Lodge. Yesterday's forecast was calling for 2-4" in our area and up to 8" in the hills of the North. Well, the storm appears to have shifted and now we're looking at a foot down here. I normally wouldn't mind the snow, but the company I work for hasn't put the snowtires on our deathtra...I mean ambulances. Not to mention, most are in pretty ****ty shape as it is. Makes for a long 8-8. Hope all the old folks stay inside and don't need to go anywhere (we don't do 911, just facility transfers).

Edit - thanks for the rep, les. I think it's the downside to being an overachiever. :p

Good Morning, Lodge!

Heading up to Grand Forks today. This should be interesting.

I guess that I am spending some time there also since I decided to leave Troy today instead of getting marooned there. Of course, until I get to DC, and find out what actually happened, I won't know if I made the correct decision. When I got an email from the airline saying that there was a winter storm disaster coming I panicked and as a true DC resident wnet out looking for bread, milk, and TP. :D

Thinking about it, besides for having to pay for a longer hotel stay, etc., because I am retired I could have stayed here until Monday if necessary.

I got to the airport my three hours early, even early than usual. :D

'Morning, all! Halloween Hustle 5K this morning. Not officially entered in the costume portion of things, but I will be wearing a moose hat.

And, no Cities this weekend. :( Stupid car. Instead, we'll be hitting up the UWS/St.Scholastica DIII game and I'll be going to a co-workers' Halloween party.

Grand Forks is interesting? Have they planted a tree there recently, perhaps? ;)

If they did plant a tree, I would tear it down. It's just not right!:D

It is a birthday gift to myself and also I get to see they family that I somewhat like.

Morning. Mmmm coffee!

Your birthday gift is a trip to ND? Wow, that is sad. :p

Hate to see what you do for Christmas.

I know it is sad, but it is a free trip. :)

Plus I am usually annihilated the whole entire time. It is the only way you can deal with ND.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 138: HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY!

Morning.

I stupidly forgot to buy a Monster Khaos yesterday, to drink this morning. Blech. Headed back to the Cities in about an hour or so, then it's getting ready for a night out. My mini-vacation was awesome, despite getting the news that Divadork and mel/husky had changes in plans, and weren't coming into town.
