Heading into the final question. My team was in second with 71 points, leaders (who were sitting right next to us) had 72. You can risk up to 15 points on the final question. We get the question. We have no clue, but we also suspect the other teams don't either. Strategy: I take the answer sheet, wager 0, then start audibly acting excited like I just got the answer and confidently stride up and turn it in. The other team sees this, bets the max, and gets it wrong. We win.

The only way that this would have been better is if the 3rd place team, with 60 points got it right and wagered all 15 points.

Morning Lodge. Supposed to be my day off so what did I do? Went in early to sit through my annual "career planning conference" - we don't have "reviews." Home now and going to go out apple picking this afternoon. Kid has a dr. appointment then on to Original Pancake House for brunch before the apples.

HPC,BCHNT. That's right, I can, but cannot have nice things.

Ordered my intake for my car last night, just found out it is backordered. Well, ****. However, I found out also that I can get my car chipped by sending my ECU down to Alabama and get it fully loaded (programmable, security features, etc) for half off the normal price since it is on sale through Saturday. So hopefully by the end of next week I will have it back and be able to play a little bit, but I really wanted to install the intake next week instead of mid-December...

Guess I can have nice things after all.

Found a different distributor for my intake, should be delivered Monday from the looks of things, just waiting to get confirmation that everything got shipped and I'll cancel the other order.

So I get to hunt opening weekend this weekend for Bambi, put in my intake monday or tuesday, and send out my ECU to get chipped monday am and have an instant increase of 70hp or so in my car by end of next week before I fly down to Houstown next weekend. Ohhhh, life is good. Oh, and I've had 4 hours of drinking before the first flight home tonight. Yepppp, sweet life indeed.

On my 5th pint of blue moon, I'll have a LI iced tea before I take off for Charlotte. I'll have some Carolina bbq there for a late dinner, then fly to syracuse tonight. Should be home by 3am. Awesome.

Highest level annual performance review :) I earned it for the hell I've been through... personally, I'm waiting to see what kind of DOC medal I get for my efforts.

don't know plans yet, will definitely meet up. no way you buy dinner or drinks - we are old retired folks! plus I'd drink you out of house and home!!

Because if they haven't, I will never go there.

No martinis for me tonight. Or getting to see hottie bartender either. Because no one was available to go out with me for a birthday beverage. :mad::( That will have to wait till next Thursday.
