bb_dl the meat in a hottie sandwich??
Oh suck it up ya ninny!!! You're fine. It ain't like the Twin Cities are like Baghdad or Tripoli.

Well, the bad part of North Minneapolis ain't no picnic. Remember, we were referred to as "Murderapolis" once. By, IIRC, a NEW YORKER.

That is probably a good thing.

Got a text the other night from an old Techie acquaintance asking if Applebee's gave lap dances. Told the bf about it, and handed him my phone. Needless to say, hilarity ensued.

Why did FM call you?

Good Morning Lodge!

Too many of my facebook friends having no idea how to get anywhere. Why is it SO hard?! I travel to RPI without using the Thruway. Although I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do that to Buffalo, I'm disappointed.

I always drove to Troy via the Taconic Parkway. There was no reason to cross the Hudson coming from Long Island and even less reason to pay the tolls. Now the connection from the end of the Taconic to Troy is also much easier.

NY 295 to US 9/US 20? Or do you get off somewhere before? Between B1 and B2 on the Thruway, you still have to pay a toll. Not to mention for you, pay a toll to get across.

I forgot to warn tLodge: I'm incredibly cheap when it comes to tolled highways.

I did pay a toll to cross the LI Sound, and I think that there was a $.25 toll on the Berkshire Spur of the Thruway. I then took US 9 and then US 9 and US 20 to US 4. I usually took the Bronx River Parkway to where the Taconic started but tried numerous other ways. (One could avoid the toll across the Sound by using the Queensborough bridge to Manhattan and then various ways to the Bronx, but I wasn't that cheap, especially considering the added traffic.)
