Sunny here in Arlington... Kickball league supposedly has free beer at 3... I'm not sure I want to go anywhere... Especially if it's something unproductive.

i don't understand how "free beer" and "unproductive" belong in the same sentence.....

Hey lodge. I'm still sitting on brents couch because I nothing better to do today. Surprised brents not up yet. Hopefully he didn't die.

I'm fine. Just a little tired. bbdl was quite the cougar bait last night. She was pretty darn good looking.

Its bud light... I also don't want to trek out an hour just to sit around with the regulars... Recently I really want to meet new people.

As it is, I'm going to take my laptop to the apple store and have it looked at... So I'm getting something useful done.

So, we got the bright idea to try and get Chris Kluwe (punter for the Vikings) to come drink with us sometime. bbdl tweeted him, and Kluwe sent him a private message about it. It's looking like it could really happen, which would be funny as all hell.

Whew!!! My money is still on Zsa Zsa to go first although I wasn't so sure after bbdl's post. ;)

Also, Sunny Sweeney kicks some serious ***. That girl is smokin hot, puts on a helluva good performance music wise, and she seems to actually have a personality.

Yay - power's back on. Still very windy, though. Hope it stays on. Just had to reset all my clocks and my TiVos.

Going on 14 hrs without power. Local media is reporting some areas may not see it for a week!

Took a ride to find some coffee. Lots and lots of tree damage but it seems to be in pockets. No widespread destruction that we could see.
All in all it could have been much worse.

For the first time in a month, I don't think I have a dirty dish in the house. The kitchen is clean, and the crock pot is coming out tomorrow morning.

Just went through my own house and picked up junk for 15 minutes. Still have a long, long way to go.

Going on 12 h without power. Still blowing like mad but no rain. Got a call from natl grid saying it may be days. The people next door were told 2am. He is one cool dude. Has a humvee with a generator on its trailer. He got it cos it could do 3 houses. Right now he is running it and we have our fridge, freezer and a light running. Eternally grateful!
