Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Morning Lodge.

Just decided to wonder if the shutdown will impact us. We were planning a canoe float trip on the St. Croix. I think in Wild River State Park...
It's a private vendor so I think we're good. I'll call the vendor today.

ETA: Sorry Scarlet, that sucks. Did Lionel have a good excuse, or just get a better offer?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Goldy, if your trip requires you to enter a state park, you're ****ed, I think. They'll close the gates to all the parks so nobody can enter them.

Wave when you guys pass through, and we'll see you all tomorrow! :)

This is the second time this has happened in a state where I am living. Send me to Alaska, that place will go broke and straight to hell in less than a year with me there.

*sits back on top of state budget surplus and massive state savings account*

Come at me, bro.

That's something I've never understood about a shutdown. Everyone suffers for undeserved reasons. Wait until the state workers decide to take a page out of Greece's book.

Well, back on the Singles market. Ah well.

And also beginning to plan Epic Road Trip for next Tues-? Might head down to see the Yanks play Thursday to try to see Jeter get 3000, then thinking about swinging up to Maine since my Dad/grandmother are heading over there next weekend.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Just submitted my first expense report at the new firm. What a cluster-F to go through.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I walked out of the building for lunch a couple hours ago, and there is a woman, a rather attractive one, sunbathing in a bikini in the yard at work. What the hell is going on? I appreciate her effort to flaunt her hoohas, but is that really the best way to utilize the lunch hour?
You whine too much!! Enjoy the view ya Hoser!!

i wonder.... does the professional we all know here have some youtube demonstrations floating around of the services he offers? :D

Eh, I've had a few classes in Thai Massage, but its not really for me. Being on the floor like that is a little hard on my knees. still, its a pretty nice style of massage if you can find somebody who's good at it. Pretty much is just Yoga for Lazy people.

AND FINALLY!!! The Countdown that I've been on all month is over with!!!! Put the Last Bale of Hay up last night at about a quarter to 2am. WOOT!!! Sore as heck and came into work early for a trade from one of my coworkers. Really did need it. Just killing time now till the start of my shift, and given that my internet at home is on the blink, I'm probably not going to be online that much at all this weekend.

"Legislature says you're closed. I say you're open."

The sky is getting dark... I can only assume this is due to the approaching sh*tshow.

Frontier had issues last night all over Michigan. It was fixed this morning.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Job hunting the few days leading up to a holiday weekend blows.

Thankfully, my former employer got me more into marketing (proposal work). So I have another feather in my cap. What sucks though is I don't know just which feather to use to focus the job hunt this time.

i need this!! i need to stretch, but i obviously can't. and nobody in my house has the strength to move my muscles into the postions that fabio or sven (or whatever his name is here) can do. he would be better than a tranny - at least he admits he's a dude and won't be begging for a tip to give me a HE! ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Might end up near Mankato this weekend. Sounds like a weekend full of pontoon, beer, and things that explode. I love 'Merica.

I hope so, I believe they're the ones that took over verizon and are now who our DSL connects too. Other than that, mom has been thinking about switching to a different provider.

Its not strength so much as its knowing how to move ya. Ask around and you should be able to find somebody good in your neck of the woods.

Also, figure on about 5 bucks per 30 minutes for a tip as well. Cash always works, but a lot of places now will let ya tack it onto your card as well. ;)
