Take out your nerves and anxiety on the weights.

not that easy... i hyperfocus... if there are other things going on that concern me or has me mentally overloaded then that takes over.

Heh, my captain and I go through about 2 pots per watch (2 six hour watches a day). Not necessarily because I need it to stay awake but moreso because it is there and it just kinda goes hand in hand with the industry lifestyle.

I only drink coffee in winter, and when I do, it's a 10-cup pot (strong) on the weekends, or a 24-32 oz from the gas station on work/weekdays.

Can't drink coffee in summer, for the most part. Just not in the mood for it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

G'morning Ralph, Mark, and the rest of the Lodge!

Couldn't sleep, and at this point there's no point in it...
Saw a cookbook on the counter. Found 50+ more, then got out the post-it's. THEN, I came across my great-grandma's recipes. Apparently, with the baking of the cake (which it was determined is better than bad sex, but not as good as good sex), I have developed an extreme desire to learn how to cook.

This vaguely frightens me... I feel as if I'm becoming domesticated.

First up, lemon & honey chicken. Also on the short list are sweet bacon pork tenderloins.
Following that, my great-great-grandma's Finnish rieska, and some good ol' Finnish nisu.

Ah, good to see you're figuring out one of your rightful places in Commie's house, the kitchen. Ya know, the food doesn't cook itself! ;)

Morning. On the Lower Miss now, and it has changed a bit since I was last here. Dropped 6 feet or so between the Ohio River and Memphis, and as much as 13 feet down in Baton Rouge. There are gonna be some islands where there... weren't islands before.

Good Morning Lodge.

Well, that potential door I had to a girl... slammed shut. Back to the drawing board.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Heads up Minnesota people: I will be in the area next week because I have an interview in Rodgers. Trying to pull some strings to set up more interviews during that time.

We shall all plan accordingly to hide in our bunkers until the threat has subsided.

Morning Lodge. Rainy Wednesday here.

We shall all plan accordingly to hide in our bunkers until the threat has subsided.

And we'll lock up the booze and beer.

So Scarlet has the yips? I didn't think she even played golf?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

It's been a little over 6 days since this pole/poll/poul/pohl should have locked... I wonder if the will still catch it if I use the F bomb... ****!

EDIT: Well, they still catch that but they stopped locking threads... I wonder what the deal is?
