Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Good afternoon Lodge.

I miss wind chill........................

The last couple months at work have been crazy. I am just wrapping up a couple big projects. After that I am taking an extended vacation then maybe I can contribute to posting in the Lodge.

I hope all is well with you fellow posters.

So, I did a little digging through Google. Was able to salvage most of the 9/11 thread. Just missing pages 7, 8, 22, 31, 34, 42, and 48. I'll work on cleaning 'em up a bit and then I'll save them to my website.

Excellent work.

So a friend of mine flies for Sky West out of (MKE?). The ramp heat was so bad today that his windshield cracked as they were about to pushback from the gate.

Scarlet can't be going out and drinking tons of the same drink I just had. I got a "lemon drop martini" which was vodka with a lemon slice dropped in it. Whoa! They did rim the glass with sugar. So I had that to break the edge...

Are you questioning Scarlet's martini drinking abilities? You should be ashamed of yourself sir! :D

Excellent work! :)

Well then stop waiting and post! Oh, and make them entertaining too, otherwise we'll whine about your posts.
We'll just whine about it anyway.

Evening, Lodge. Got to work with a Robot Coupe (industrial strength food processor) today, and now I want one.

Can't really complain because I was expecting it, but he's an a-hole nonetheless.

But he gave me positive rep so he must be a fine gentleman. ;)

He gave me the positive because I agreed with him about JBSU fans.

Kid's soccer match postponed again, now to Friday, the original rain date. Unfortunately our goalie will be gone to England by then. :( I was really oping they'd win and get to go to State. They still have a shot, but missing the goalie, their best mid is injured and one of their center defenders is out in Glacier National Park. It'll be tough.

You know, I haven't had a lemon drop in a while.....I may have one of those tomorrow. Had a different martini tonight. It was yummy. Not hottie bartender level, but tasty nonetheless. At a restaurant called Grumpy Doyle's. Heh. Great name. That's about it. Good, but not great.

Ooh, ooh, let's start posting so Chickens misses it again. :p;)

We should, his polls suck!

Blearhcckkk!!! It wasn't nice out there at all today. It was still at 99 next to lubbers at six and I quickly decided that it wasn't even worth trying to put the makeup on for Franky. Would have just all melted anyways. Really felt bad for the guy in the Louie Suit. That thing is warm even on a cold day. I hope they had him saturated before suiting up. And one of the cheer leaders there got kinda dizzy as well. Pretty sure that was the most water I've ever seen at a GV tailgate.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

So, if I'm already acting in all of the roles of my new position at work, shouldn't I be receiving the appropriate compensation as well? Oye...
