pffffft. there would be stretches of 10-15 minutes of no touching the steering levers and no boats around us, hitting something was the least of my worries

steered for 5 hours, now sleep for 4.5 to do it all over again possibly.

Nope. Kids in attendance were not paying attention and when we walked out just over half way through the theater was turning into a zoo as the kids were getting bored.

just finished my watch, tied up waiting to go down through kentucky locks on the tennesee river. Steered another 3 hours this evening, giving me just over 9 in the past 30 hours. Stopping in Peducah tomorrow am for fuel, then continuing down the Ohio river to the Mighty Mississippi. Probably in Baton Rouge Wed/Thurs, where I'll get off and head home for a couple weeks. Wheeeeee!

'Steak Saturday' tomorrow too!
