Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

One of them was Kelsey Grammer's ex-wife, the other one is part of the Maloof clan. Neither one of them should have been allowed anywhere near that show. What a couple of twats. Ruined the show for me. Also, Jay Mohr is NOT funny and should be banned from hosting this. The whole show was pretty lame.

He's fantastic doing regular standup or on the radio. The impression bits would have killed on radio, but the visual of seeing him do it takes away from it. It seemed like he needed to pass his monologue through the NHL to have them sanitize it, but he still got some great zingers through.

I do agree that it should have been better (but it's certainly miles above where it used to be).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

Soccer games canceled for tonight due to soggy fields. Good thing for us since the wife and kid are having a garage sale tomorrow and can use the time to get ready for it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

and Good Morning to MEUSA who probably had withdrawl pains like me!
Withdrawl? Ruined my whole **** day!

Things are starting to get back to normal now...

Good morning to tLodge! ;)

There, I feel better already! :)

This. They were pathethic (and not even nice to look at).

The whole show was pretty lame.
Way too scripted for me. A more traditional awards presentation would be better. Humor is ok but I think an awards show should really focus on the awards and recipients.

I was in withdrawal until now. It wasn't up past 8:30 here. Hope it wasn't anyone's BD. :(
Mine's still over 2 months away. :p

I wonder if the state government shutdown will last long enough to **** up my attempt at renewing my license in August (any fellow Minnesotans know if that will be impacted by the idiotic stalemate in St. Paul?).

It **** well better not be shut down that long, or I'm going to cut a btich, since I'll have plenty of time on my hands. And it probably will be screwed up if it does last that long.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

Good Evening Lodge. Last night in Indiana, get to fly home tomorrow. Hopefully I get to have some fun this weekend. Speaking of that, brent, do you want to meet up sometime tomorrow night? I have to drop a coworker off at his house in Plymouth, after that I was planning on going home. I'm hoping to find something to do after that.

I've always wondered what happens if someone were to pull a Clark Griswold and break into a state park and set up camp during one of those shutdowns.

I was so ready to post a Whitey Bulger thread last night.... that psychotic scumbag should be plastered far and wide as to what happens in a democracy that you allow to grow corrupt.

I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel on the big project at work... its been tough... but I believe I know how to get things programmed out and completed. I can't say the same for the guy who is verifying my work.

edit: that's not to discredit him... he is my weightlifting coach and sounding board after all :) he's just struggling on this one aspect of it. I never imagined this part being that insane.

Yeah, that should work depending on timing. I'll be very late to the draft. I expect to get out of work a little past 7, and I still would have to head home and change. I tell ya, if Das Boot is in play on Saturday, it's gonna be like seeing a unicorn riding a rainbow while Megan Fox does unnatural things to me for my pleasure.

I don't have tickets to the draft, so I don't know what I'm going to do yet.

I sorta do. It's in my email as a pdf, which means I have to hope work doesn't block that, and lets me print it out (if I can figure that out). There are still Saturday tickets available, so I'm not worried about that. Heck, we can just find a bar near the X and watch the draft on Fri if need be.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

Hi kids! Just got home from my weekly Thursday night out. I'm wicked tired so I think I'm going to go to bed. Still no EXTRA. Emailed Ed T again asking for an update since I've heard nothing since last night. Greeeeeeeeeeeeaat.

How is this for a plan? I will drop my coworker off at his house, then instead of going home, I'll go to TK's, where I can park for free. I'll eat some redneck meatloaf, have some Nordeast, and after you get done with work you can call me and we can meet up and go to St. Paul.

Works for me.

I think I found the girl that Twitch should go after in Anchorage. :D Hint: has anyone watched the Alaskan taxidermy show on History?
