I get that walking in 10 minutes before close and staying is a **** thing to do, but giving good service in that situation shouldn't be that hard. Any decent multi-tasker should be able to do it with ease.

It would (or should) be service with a smile, but beware the food.

Truth be told, never have I ever been a bad server. Typically, I'm an excellent server. However, when someone is inconsiderate enough to walk in at ten to... the service is usually only good. Not great. Unless, however, they're a) nice, b) apologetic about their timing, and c) gracious about the service.

On my way back from Wrigley Field. A couple of my co-workers and I got free tickets from one of our vendors.
 
Evening all! Been planning on a little dinner date with TK tomorrow and it might be blowing up in my face. Supposedly we've got a wagon of hay coming in tomorrow, and it just might cause me problems.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible tuesday.
Is it going to be summer sometime soon? Days of clouds and rain on and off. I need just a little sun somewhere in the forecast.

It requires math, but I will not live that long unless I speed up a lot.

BTW, I am sitting around waiting for the oil to be changed in my car, etc. Hopefully they don't find much "etc". :)

I really wonder why I still go to the dealership, especially since they are not my dealership anymore. (I have a Saturn, and they now sell Hyundai.)

There was no etc, just told that next time I should change the air filter. :)

Morning Lodge. Not reading back eight pages that I missed while at the lake.

Fishing was OK for others, but we did not do well. Still fun though.

It's not customary to tip in many foreign countries. It's actually a foreign concept to the foreigners. :p

Ralph, you sound like me - I have a saturn and just took it to a VW (used to be saturn) dealership to have stuff done. :D

They're used to the gratuity being included within the bill.

Really, the whole idea of tipping is dumb. Why shouldn't the restaurant just pay the servers a decent wage and throw a couple bucks more one each menu item. It would make much more sense.

It took him this long to get to 123,456; I'm not sure he'd make it to 1,234,567. :( Unless of course his real name is Methuselah. :p:D
