Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Mornin' Lodge. Another beautiful Minnesota day!

Clouding up here. :( Hope it clears back up, I'm taking the afternoon off and the rototiller guy is scheduled to do our garden tonight.

Morning Lodge. Had to get up at the buttcrack of dawn to take the Mrs. to the airport - have to pick junior up at school after a make-up test and get him over to Wayzata for a track meet then feed him and get him to soccer practice. Call me Mr. Mom for a couple days.

Okay, Mr. Mom...:p From what I've heard, today will be more cloudy, but still light winds and 75 degrees or so. doesn't sound like any rain in the forecast for you!:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! thursday is almost friday
Lil running again today. He is not into it because it isn't the conference meet (which he thought he would run this WE) and the coach just figured out 2 days ago they could run the Fr today. His running brain shut off Monday. Will be shocked if the time is anywhere decent.
You never know. Sometimes when you let go of expectations, you end up running better than ever.

Remember to put the crayons up one drawer higher so Gmann doesn't find them again. ;)

Eh, at Vivo and tired. Not even caffeine is helping much. And I've laid off of it for a while as well.

Mostly cloudy through Sunday with highs in the 70s. Stormy tomorrow afternoon through Saturday morning, and after that, the coverage will be much spottier (so most of the weekend should be decent).

Howdy Lodge. Last day at work before I jet off to Florida. My hope is that I see the sun while I'm there since it's been non-existent here. Seriously, it's been so gross and miserable here the last week.

Lots to do before I head out, which I'm doing at 5pm, because, well, it's Thursday. And I go out for a tasty alcoholic beverage (or two) on Thursdays. :)

You don't even want to know what I saw walking down the street today. World class, my friend. Honestly, I seriously considered snapping a photo and sending it to you.

You're not kidding, although there is some mysterious blinding figure up in the sky today, not quite sure what it is though.

T-30 minutes until I'm on the phone with the dealership trying to hammer out a price. Hopefully driving home a new whip this afternoon!

I actually ran better when I was angry.

I got stung by a bee at the start of the 3rd mile of an XC meet once. After dropping an F-bomb that was heard 500 feet ahead of me, I ran one of my better mile splits that season.

In other news...

Lease is up soon at my current apartment, so I'm thinking about bailing out unless they make me a Godfather offer. It was okay, but I'm starting to outgrow it and I think the neighborhood is heading downhill. Lots of drunken hooting and hollering and shouting matches out in the street, and had APD in the building a while back. Plus I have friends who are getting much better places in nicer parts of town for much less.

Starting to look at new places now. Looking for a rental condo for 1-2 years, then I'll think about buying something assuming I'm still around.
