Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Good Morning Lodge.

1 day at the office then I'll be heading back to Grand Forks to continue work on my project Tuesday-Friday this week. I think I'm just going to stay north for the long weekend once I'm up there, probably head east on 2, don't really have a plan yet.
I am heading south for the weekend. The ATL to be exact.

Good Morning Lodge. It's not very sunny here this morning. :( But it is warm. Gonna sit by the pool anyway.

So the text I got actually was from a friend. Heh. New phone but no contacts so I didn't recognize the number. He sent me a message via Facebook.

Gonna do my best to not check the Blackberry today. Cuz i'm on vacation.

A bit too warm here weather-concerned, and thunderboomers in the forecast, but overall OK.

Hey bbdl, they just opened up aToby Keith's here at Patriot Place which is the retail shopping area outside Gillette Stadium. If you're ever in the area......

Awesome. I do plan on getting out that way at some point, but I have no idea when. I would like to make it work for a Twins-Sox game, so that would have to be next year at the earliest.

Afternoon all. Nothing much going on here, did recieve the offical invite to a wedding in Houghton. Too bad I'm going to be stuck working that weekend. I'm guessing there would be quite a lot of shenanagins going on up there that weekend.

the only reason to get down there is one of the 8 patsies game. outside of that there is no reason in the world to head there.. middle of nowhere halfway between providence and boston.

unless of course you want to go to bass pro shop or the newly mentioned tk's! :p

That sucks. I have no interest in seeing an NFL game. But given how you easterners hate driving a long ways to get places, I'm guessing that your TK's is closer to Boston than I am to the TK's here in the cities. :p

Nope. Pretty much exactly the same, though. :)

And now I'm not going to Grand Forks this week. While I'm glad to not have to go there, it would really be nice to get this project done, and now it is just getting dragged out even more.

40 something degrees, and drizzling makes for a fine late May day:rolleyes:, might turn my furnace on tonight, what a joke this summer is turning into

I should check my mail to see if mine came. Of course, I don't think I'll need/get one, since I'm in the wedding. ;)

mel's in town this weekend and wants to hang out. If it's nice out we could do the Cooper Pub patio/TK's doubleheader...

So, how out of controll is that golf outing the day before the wedding going to be?? If things got going right, somebody could end up waking up on the deck of a Laker bound for Duluth.

That part I don't know. MNS and I are leaving on Fri morn, hopefully getting to Houghton by 2pm, which is hotel check-in. But given that the last wedding I attended/was in, the groomsmen and the groom were out until bar close (and had a little afterbar) the night before the wedding, all bets are off. At one point, the groom was dancing on the tables at the bar. :D
