Ok, against my better judgment, I'm watch Legend of the Crystal Skull. I'm debating turning it off. Never seen it. I'm oddly curious.

Without the last 30-45 minutes it's a C-at best. With the last 30-45 minutes is an epic F.

After the opening scene, it blows goats.

Full day today. Niece's bday, where I got her a toy cell phone that has educational stuff on it and of course makes lots of noise. Then headed to St Paul to meet up with divadork for lunch and MNS later joined us for the Wild game. The first period was boring, but the rest of the game was somewhat entertaining. Then got to drive home in the crappy weather at a whopping 30-40 mph.

I propose a ban on all hockey talk, with the exceptions:

1. Which table you are sitting at
2. A brief recap of why you are sitting at the table you are sitting at

There's a D1 side, you know. ;)

Somebody get 'diva a chocolate milk and Shirtless Bob a sandwich.

BG pulls the upset in double OT.

Ohh, ooh, I know this one- he is a witch!!
Burn the Witch!!! Nobody else ran with that today?? SIEVES!!!!!!

So that's what they call it these days.

*drags a keg over and plunks it onto the Happy Hockey Table*

Who wants a drink?
Yo!! Jabo needs another refill!!! ;)

Lent begins tomorrow. Fasting for the week, or, trying to.
I thought Lent didn't start til Wednesday? Thats why I was told that Fat Tuesday is a big deal because thats suppost to be about the last day you can have whatever you're abstaining from for Lent. Thus why Paczki's are nothing but sugery calorie bombs!! :D

She'll be upset, but in the big picture, not that upset.

You sure about that?? Your funeral if you're not.

I believe that the Rep Lodge has always been a heckeling free zone. It should continue as such.

bigmrg: had lunch with divadork today, and we discussed it. She felt NMU wasn't going to do anything in the NCAA's anyway, if they made it.

Almsy: agreed

I don't profess to be a religious person, but I know that Eastern Orthodox's Lenten rules and observations are quite a bit different from the rest of Christianity.

Ding ding ding!!! Winnah winnah fish (cuz it's Lent and you can't eat meat!) dinnah! Easters are the same again this year (odd that it happened so soon) but our Lenten season starts tomorrow.

As long as you're free and clear for the F4.....

And by my count, you have two free martinis coming to you at that time (Bro Gin and me).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

I've never quite understood the whole meat thing for Lent. Whatever though. It helps the fish industry and more juicy steaks for us protestant/nondenominational.

Something about Jesus and his blood and flesh, IIRC. I never followed it after I had the opportunity to choose. However, my great-grandma followed the OLD school tradition where it was (again, IIRC) no meat on EVERY Friday during the year.
