I thought Lent didn't start til Wednesday? Thats why I was told that Fat Tuesday is a big deal because thats suppost to be about the last day you can have whatever you're abstaining from for Lent. Thus why Paczki's are nothing but sugery calorie bombs!!Lent begins tomorrow. Fasting for the week, or, trying to.

I don't profess to be a religious person, but I know that Eastern Orthodox's Lenten rules and observations are quite a bit different from the rest of Christianity.
Ding ding ding!!! Winnah winnah fish (cuz it's Lent and you can't eat meat!) dinnah! Easters are the same again this year (odd that it happened so soon) but our Lenten season starts tomorrow.

I am giving up thinking about drinking less for Lent.
I've never quite understood the whole meat thing for Lent. Whatever though. It helps the fish industry and more juicy steaks for us protestant/nondenominational.
