Good morning from stupid Iowa.

More meetings and site observ. this AM, then drive to Cedar Rapids and fly home. Ready to be home.

Heading to Atlantic City for the ECAC Championship weekend. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing but at least I get to watch some live hockey.

If I hit big in the casino I may just disappear for a while... ;)

'Morning, Lodge! Day off today. First day off since I started working at the running store that doesn't involve travel or dying of the flu. Heading out for 8 miles here soon.

Good morning. Here's a quick synopsis of a story appearing in this morning's Denver Post. It certainly qualifies as one of life's awkward moments.

By coincidence, Denver and North Dakota are staying at the same hotel during the Final Five. Denver's Jesse Martin is standing in the lobby waiting to take the elevator up to the floor on which his room is located. The elevator doors open and out steps Brad Malone, the player with whom Martin collided earlier this season.

My apt smells like 3 lbs of beef, 2 lbs of bacon, 1lb of Italian sausage, and about 1/2 lb of veggies.

Must be F5 weekend.

Making? We're making meat. And veggies to balance it out. There is literally a meat smog in my apt. It rules.

Saw it live on NHL Network. What a sweet move for his first in the NHL.

And the Avs lost, even better! :D

OK, so question for you Minnesota folks - I'll be staying at the Westin Edina Galleria Monday and Tuesday (week of the FF). Is that close to.....anything? I tried to see if my hotel in St. Paul had any available rooms for Tuesday but they're booked, so I might as well stay put till I can check in on Wednesday. I was thinking about another hotel in downtown Minneapolis, but really, I don't want to have to check out, check in and check out again. Seems a little bit much. Plus, the difference in cost isn't enough to warrant it, unless I find a cheap place close to the airport or something. For one night, I can splurge, as I'm not paying for airfare.
