Behind the DQ? MNS and I will be there, but I dunno if we're getting a ride or cabbing it. I have to talk to him tonight; he's crashing here for the weekend to make it easier for travel.

I have had some very good food in Texas, tonight was just a burger at some bar by campus. It was good, but nothing too special. When I was in Houston I had some bbq that was incredible, not ribs, brisket and pulled pork cooked in a bbq pit. It was very, very good, especially because they took all the great bbq meat and stuffed it inside a potato, covered the whole thing with homemade sauce...all out of tin shack in a neighborhood I wouldn't stop in if I wasn't with locals.
Texas Tech has some potential to be a good time and the girls are very nice looking. Unfortunately they're on spring break right now, so even though it is St. Patty day, there wasn't much going on by campus.

Greetings from stupid Iowa. I am in Fort Madison tonight. The client took us to a place his buddy owns. There were five items on the menu and one was crossed out. I had the corned beef and cabage (duh). Not bad, but not fine dining. Glad I can leave tomorrow.... Glad I DVRed the Beavers. Congrats gmann!

Finally got the temerity to try the finished and carbonated Mr. Beer... its drinkable in the sense that it doesn't taste like much of anything... funky little aftertaste... this is what I get for brewing the Mr. Beer way... but it isn't awful or particular trashable either.... its just ok.
Next time I do this for real... but when i do it, I'll go full bore so it may be awhile... a year or so... I want some proper temperature control. I want to go full in.

I have no idea how Denver will do in the WCHA tournament this weekend. Based on absolutely no hard data whatsoever, and only the two or three IQ points I have rattling around my brain, I have a hunch that the Pioneers are going to be heading to Manchester, New Hampshire to play the Wildcats in the opening round of the NCAA tourney. Nothing more than a wild guess on my part.

Don't laugh at her. Until Tis weekend at Frickers, I haven't any alcohol since NYE.
Had two nice pints of Guinness tonight at Dan's. And the barkeeper screwed up and forgot to put my order of waffle fries on my tab. Tipped him that and some change. They still made out well anyways.
