Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

So, yeah. My promotion came through this afternoon. W00t! I get a raise that's effective starting the pay period starting on Monday the 14th. Then in April the annual merit increase takes effect (which is minimal). And we got our bonus checks. It's been OK day. :)

I am now defintiely heading to Minneapolis for the work event, which is Tuesday morning. I'll be in Edina (?) on Monday night I need to see if I can change the room in St. Paul to start on Tuesday night instead of Wednesday night. And then maybe you chuckleheads can entertain me Tuesday night.

I'm guessing you mean April 5th.

I am sure more than one of us chuckleheads could find a place that serves a good martini (or any other drink of choice).

This chucklehead will probably be busy working on Wednesday, I'm guessing I'll be in Green Bay until Wednesday night.

Hotels in Edina are Westin or Sheraton (sorta - half Edina, half Bloomington) and maybe Soffitel. Oh, there's a Residence Inn too.

The Hyundai Accent is the worst car ever manufactured. It steals the title from the Dodge Caliber.

If you ever have to drive this car, shoot yourself instead.

The warning bonger alone will mortify you. It goes *bing bong bing bong bing bong* and sounds like a little kid playing on a xylophone.

If you want a cute compact car, that's why God made Mini Coopers.

I had one of those for a rental once. You're right, it sucks. Not as bad as the Chevy HHR, though.
