I think General Sports is $4 to sharpen and you could bake the skates yourself, it's easy. Google the directions.

ETA: St. Louis Park arena now has a skate sharpening service, don't know the cost or quality though.

They had one when I was playing that was free to SLP youth hockey players (as far as I knew) that was decent quality, IIRC. Either that or the arena attendants just did them for us because they knew us.

I knew I could bake them at home, I was just looking to get both things done at one time if it wasn't relatively too expensive.

EDIT: And my hockey bag has suddenly gone missing. Luckily my skates were in my brother's bag for some reason (though one is now missing a skate guard), but the rest of it is gone. :mad:
