Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

So are you a Dodge guy?
Not so much Dodge, as I am for the engine they put in it. I would buy any truck, other then Nissan or Toyota crap, if they had that engine. I like old MOPARS: Chargers, Challengers, Coronets, 'cudas...pretty much anything from '68 to '72, with the emphasis on '69 and '70. Since then there are limited MOPAR/Chrysler vehicles I like, there was an occasional Viper, the new Challenger, Little Red Express, Jeeps that they didn't screw up, and anything powered by Cummins.
If Chrysler ever releases the diesel Wrangler over here I will have a crisis.
Chrysler may not be releasing one, but bbdl will be releasing one from his garage in the near future. :)

Thank God someone started another Ylae* thread. You can never have enough Ylae* threads.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

Very entertaining :D

It's the dawn of a new noob season. Get ready..........

And it's my week at our offsite location. Needless to say, I kicked arse. Plus, despite the more physical aspect of the work, it's actually easier on the body, given the nature of the labor; mentally and physically. Instead of "I need A to match B, and meet deadline C, and worry about D which is coming soon," it's "Get A done, so I can meet deadline B."

And of course, since I start half an hour earlier, chances are I increase my OT about 1/2 hour a day, which looks good in the ol' bank account. Seriously considering getting a new Wrangler, if I can reach certain personal financial goals (mainly, a big down payment to make monthly payments minimal).

Wait until 2012 or 2013. They're getting the new Chrysler Pentastar V6 and likely a new transmission, both of which are going to be massive improvements over the 2011. I'm actually considering a trade-in myself.

Just make sure you get a hard top.
HuskyNation and I thank you.

Well, chances are it would be those models (unless you actually mean wait until the 2013/2014 models come out). I have a little bit to go. If it weren't for the F4, it might be sooner, but the F4 will be pricey (my choice, btw; I am gonna spend a bunch).

And mel, sorry, but I'm going soft-top. Hard-top looks too difficult and cumbersome to remove with just one person. :(

The Freedom tops aren't too bad if you're in a hurry. If you want the whole top off, yeah, that's a biznatch with one person.

The 2013 might be getting the Skyslider top - ask HN about that one.

I'm either an all-or-nothing type of driver when it comes to tops. If I wanted a sunroof only, I would be getting a Wrangler, and I wouldn't be living in MN. ;)

And I may have crossed the line in the Aaron Marvin thread. Ooops..

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible tuesday is here.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

11.5 hours until game time. SLU vs Clarkson tonight. I just hope SLU comes ready to play tonight, they decided to stay in their dorms Saturday after beating Yale Friday. If I wasn't going home Friday, I would most likely be driving home just for this game (7 hours each way).
