What the hell happened to your shower curtain?

It was in the dryer (I washed it yesterday, and forgot to rehang it).

And of all the things that happened last night, THAT'S what is on your mind?

Eh, just a normal Saturday night the way things are going lately.

Saw Yale in person for the first time this year (had seen them on ESPNU earlier), and, don't take this as an ECAC fan trying to hype up our conference, they are definitely capable of deserving top 5 recognition. Maybe not #1, but definitely top 5. SLU gave them all they could handle through 2, with the score being 1-0 Yale after 2, but they just turned it on into overdrive and then some in the 3rd and completely dominated. Was a very, very fun game to watch despite the final score being 4-1, which is about what I expected would happen.

Having good friends over to watch the late NFL game and have dinner. Roast pork loin, chipotle seasoned mash potatoes, tossed craisin salad and blueberry cobbler for dessert. Have a good night folks.;)

Good morning. Back from church. Cuppa hazlenut coffee in hand and the chef is fixing some french toast for breakfast. Enjoy the rest of your day folks. :)

Yum!

Evening, Lodge. A ham sandwich sounds good enough for dinner right now...

I finally got an oven and dishwasher today. Can't get the dishwasher hooked up yet because I still need to get a water line for it.

I am in awe of you not having an oven and surviving that long

sounds like grad school to me... 3 years of living on things from the microwave... I don't recommend that kind of living, but you do what you need to.

Just decided to start dinner and the meat we thawed was nasty. So. Pizza tonight.... Ugh.

1) Crock pot
2) George Foreman
3) Grill
4) Microwave for the crock pot leftovers

If I could grill every night, I would. When I was roommates with a buddy in a house, that's pretty much what we did. You can grill just about anything, with the right equipment/creativity.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Just got back from my parents' house. Took my dad out this afternoon so I could help him buy a computer. Then back to their house for dinner. They're heading to Florida on Saturday and my mom wanted to clean out her freezer. She had four stuffed peppers left, plus some lamb pieces and the drippings from the pan she cooked it in. She then made a Greek dish with orzo, the lamb and some tomato sauce which is one of my absolute favorites. If only I could pull together a meal like that. I just had tha and she gave me two of the peppers with some potatoes to have for dinner this week. They also just switched from Comcast to Verizon Fios so they have high def for the first time and we watched the Packers-Bears game that way.

I'm actually typing this on my work laptop as I need to input my time for the past month. It's something I can do while watching the football game.
