I probably use my George Foreman and the microwave more than anything, but I'm starting to use the oven more and more.

Just made snail buns for Mr. les. Part of his Christmas present owing. New recipe. They look just amazing!

that's what I should have asked for at xmas :)

I haven't cooked burgers in a good long time... but if I had a foreman I'd seriously consider it... that and I'd probably cook chicken breasts more often... keep them nice a juicy as opposed to baking.

I cook a lot of chicken breasts on mine, and I agree that it keeps them much juicier.I've done burgers, too, but not for a long time. I can also make quesadillas and grilled sandwiches on it as well.

I made pudding from scratch for the first time tonight. I think it turned out quite well. :) I like having a kitchen to play in now.

I hate george foreman grills, gotta have a real grill, preferably charcoal, but I have a gas one, for convenience. I just used the grill, crock pot, electric frying pan and microwave. I cooked everything on the grill until it got cold, then I started using the frying pan and crock pot more. Frozen pizzas on the grill were better than in the oven. I also used my propane torch for cooking, like making garlic toast and such.

I have to hand it to you, that is pretty resourceful.
Truth be told, I'd rather use a real grill. My Foreman is a decent substitute for now, though.

Charcoal grills are where it's at. You can utilize tinfoil, cookie sheets, cast-iron skillets, etc to make just about anything. It's basically like cooking over an open fire. It's wonderful.

Now that I have an oven I can make tater tot hotdish! Too bad I'm probably not going to be home to actually get around to it for about a month.

The Foreman is OK. In Houghton, when I couldn't have a real grill at my apartment, it worked in a pinch for a quick burger. I wouldn't let a good steak go anywhere near it though, that I'd pan sear and finish in the oven.

Why would you need to cook a steak. Eat it raw.

If you're up for it, try the Jamie Oliver baked-chicken-in-a-bag thing. Amazingly juicy breasts.

(You get Lodge Points for getting 'breasts' and 'baked' in one post, I think. :D)
