Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Isn't Boston buried in snow right now? Probably not the best weekend to have a whim.
Snow has never stopped me before. As long as the planes are landing, I don't see the problem. Besides, that is probably why I can get a round trip flight for 25,000 miles.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Good morning....Congrats Brent and keep shipping out that tacky & abrasive stuff!!

morning lodge. 4.875 with a 4.9xx APR. Nice. Never have to worry about refinancing.
Until you wake up & realize you're in Oakdale! :p ;)
Congrats. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

I work with absolute idiots!

You're in Wisconsin aren't you? Just sayin'.

Morning Lodge.

The tournament director for Lakeville Hockey must be from Wisconsin as she's an ijit. Months ago I sent an e-mail notifying them that I am the contact for my kid's team (our association registers the teams for tourneys before the teams are even picked, then the managers take over). Then about 3 weeks ago I started e-mailing her asking if she needed anything from me, like a roster, then a couple weeks ago I started bugging her on when the brackets would be available, then I corrected her when her posted rules had a contradiction in them. Yesterday she sent a panicked e-mail to our association asking for rosters for the program - for the tourney that starts TODAY. Finally last night she realizes it is supposed to go to me and sent it to me so I got her the roster - the one I offered her three weeks ago.

I'm sure you could go. Just figured nicer weather would make a better trip. :)

I'm tossing around the idea of going to Ft. Myers for spring training. Only cost I am working out is the 4-5 days worth of hotel. Since Boston/MN share the same city for their games, could see games every day via cab/public transport/walking instead of needing a car.

Sleep on the beach...

So you don't want to fly to Boston at 1:00 this afternoon? I can get the flight for 25,000 miles and a hotel close to the games for about $80/night. I think I'd go to the Northeastern game tonight and then meet up with jmh tomorrow for the Cornell-Harvard game. I kinda need to make this decision soon, since the flight isn't that long from now.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Good morning. A half day of work and then my wife and I, along with her sister and brother-in-law, are heading for the hills for three days on the slopes. Have a good weekend folks. Ski you later.:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

I believe the mook wasn't coughing up lung. Hopefully he is not gacking up anything anymore. or dealing with a lot of **** :p

OK, seeing you are not on eastern time isn't this a bit early to have been so ambitious? I am feeling inadequate and I haven't been out of bed for an hour.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! friday. that is all.
And I can belly up to the no hockey bar. I think I will start early. Chocolate milk please.
But I am on Eastern time; I'd rather be ambitious early than late at night. Oh well. Time to have another cup of coffee and get ready for work.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

I must have forgotten to read through the overnight posts, so congrats Brent on whatever job you got. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

I hate d-bags who have nothing to contribute except inane drivel and personal insults.

That is all.
So you've been reading the BU thread, have you? Some "controversial" dismissal from the BU program and the typical BC trolls are coming out of the woodwork.

Your wife gave you a dutch oven? Ewww.

Well, got word from CoolBoss (although I didn't hear it from him, and I know nothing, winkwink) that the off-site position at work is mine on a permanent basis. :D :D :D

Obviously, I'm just playing dumb with everyone else, since I'm not supposed to know anything. So, if I'm there next week (99.9% yes), I told him I'd like to have a sit-down with DHead Boss for the finer details of the job (who does the monthly safety inspection, official shift time since the position starts half-hour earlier than my current shift, and of course a possible raise).

I'm friggin' pumped. I'm basically my own boss, with this position. The job is: here's the stuff you need to get done by the end of the day. Make it happen. Don't really care how, just meet the deadlines, and you're golden.
NICE! Congrats, Brent! :) *prospect of a raise is always nice as well!*

Checking in. Taking a day off from the gym as I've been 6 of the last 7 days. Since we all know that you can't lose 1000 lbs overnight, I don't see any point in killing myself or risking injury by going every single day without a break. We're going tomorrow morning when the gym opens before tcbg heads over to Durham for hockey. I get the house to myself tomorrow, which probably means dishes/laundry/cleaning up my pile of clothes in the bedroom. :o (AND romantic comedies! :D )

Sounds like you should be talking to CHA. Anyone seen him lately?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Morning. Busy weekend coming up, with watching the all star game coverage on top of listening to SLU, skiing on a school trip tomorrow (5am departure, yikes!) then rifle match in Philly Sunday. Currently sitting in 12th out of 140 in our conference, so hopefully I have a good day.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

It's snowing!

I better go out and buy some bread, milk and TP. :)

Yep, went to the Wayzata-Eden Prairie game with him last weekend. And he asked me yesterday if I want to go to Mardi Gras, of course I do, I just need to figure out if I can swing it financially. Anyone else want to go? :p

I didn't ask him about a trip to Boston, I've decided to save my money and miles for now, I still might make a trip out there for a weekend another weekend before the Final 5.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Good morning Lodge.

Congratulations on the job Brent.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

S'upp y'all

Wonderful day at work. Already performed six *headdesk* movements. Big laughs all around :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

This is true! Aren't you moving to Milwaukee? If so, then I don't have to drive to the F5 to give you your beer. I can just go 20 minutes north. :)

Just for the record, I do plan on being at the F5.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Oh come on, if it's already snowing it's too late to buy those things, the stores will be sold out.

That's when the snow is in the forecast. :) The forecast said there would be flurries, but it wouldn't stick. It's been "flurrying" for well over an hour now.
