For all East Coast and/or Upper Midwest LODGEONIANS up to their ears in snow and struggling to keep warm against winetr's chill: I feel your pain. The temperature here in Denver in the past hour dropped two degrees to a frigid sixty eight.

Off to the slopes. Have a good weekend all.;)

So you rip on us for being buried in snow, then go off to a place that has a **** ton more snow than MN or Boston? You make tons of sense. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

This is true! Aren't you moving to Milwaukee?

NO!

Wait, goldy is moving to Milwaukee?

**** NO!

I talked to a recruiter a while back and it was unclear from the listing if the position was in Mpls. or Mke. Once it was clear the position was in 'Sconny, the conversation ended. I could have taken that position 10 years ago had I wanted to go to Milwaukee. I kinda, sorta held the position remotely for a couple years back then. (Director of the mechanical department in the Milwaukee office of the firm I used to work for.) ;)

After telling all of the 4 kids repeatedly not to play in the snow mounds near the bushes, one of them fell *** first into the bushes and got stuck. Started screaming like a lunatic. Had to pull her out and took a branch to the thigh for my efforts. Have a throbbing 3" raised bruise with scrape right down the middle (and yes, that was despite wearing heavy pants).  I was so mad I just wanted to leave her in there for a few minutes.

Did you at least take a moment before you pulled it out to ask it what you had told them about playing by the bushes? And perhaps taken a picture of the kid as it was stuck??

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Michigan Tech's scoreless streak has been ended, 3:12 short of the school record.

Can I at least touch the happy hockey table now?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

We drew the WORST CCHA ref for this series. I'm hiding under the *k hockey bar with my hands over my ears until the game is over.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

So I'm trying to think what type of martini I want at the *hockey bar. I've already had a lemon drop tonight.

If that was actually your kid you could have sat on the snowbank and waited calmly for the crying to stop before asking if she remembered the rules. This is why being a Nanny sux. ( I was one once. Do not miss it)
