Monday I came down with strep and now I have a wicked cold. :(

First time I have been sick in years. I got the flu shot for the first time ever a couple months ago. Coincidence? ;)

Sweet day at the mountain, went with 3 of my friends from school, all of the female type. Mountain was pretty much empty, so we got a bunch of runs in despite getting there late.

Had a genius freshman decide to jump out a second story window from a room into the snow. Broke both ankles. Thank you, admissions department, for accepting only the brightest and smartest kids! :rolleyes:

Mrs. goldy finally used our new dutch oven today to make a wonderful pot roast. Her first attempt and a resounding success! Yum!

Seriously, I get that Top 5 teams are going to have annoying trolls. Why do fans of absolute dogsh*t teams get saddled with them too? Look at MTU - 3 years of crap, and two years of mediocrity prior to that. Why come out of the woodwork now?

Well, got word from CoolBoss (although I didn't hear it from him, and I know nothing, winkwink) that the off-site position at work is mine on a permanent basis. :D :D :D

Obviously, I'm just playing dumb with everyone else, since I'm not supposed to know anything. So, if I'm there next week (99.9% yes), I told him I'd like to have a sit-down with DHead Boss for the finer details of the job (who does the monthly safety inspection, official shift time since the position starts half-hour earlier than my current shift, and of course a possible raise).

I'm friggin' pumped. I'm basically my own boss, with this position. The job is: here's the stuff you need to get done by the end of the day. Make it happen. Don't really care how, just meet the deadlines, and you're golden.
