We started getting snow around 7 in NYC, has snowed through the morning with a few inches probably. Looks like it will transition to a mix through the afternoon and then come down again overnight. They're still guessing 6-10 down here, but they didn't have the 2-4 we got this morning, so who knows.

Are you getting any snow out there? We had a bit this morning, but it turned to rain, and that has continued off and on. I suppose that when the temperature goes down a few degrees and roads turn to ice, it might be fun. :D

They are reporting snow/hail/sleet/thunder on a Woodbridge/Fairfax line (10-20 miles from the city)... I think. Going to be an ugly trip home for a lot of people here.

I am really hitting my programming stride... too bad. :p

edit: just had a nice thunder rumble. 3:35
edit #2: and now we've switched to sleet. 3:38
edit #3: heavier sleet. 3:39

Diva, Quiz says you can do the ceremonial puck drop after us. Otherwise, she says she is hammerpunching you like 14 times.

5 more times I have to commute to Greensboro. 5. I vow to never return to the place unless it's me doing a turn out of there. That's it.

First time in forever that I am not planning for something on the weekend. That is nice. So far I have neatened up a bunch of stuff I just didn't get to before, made blueberry muffins, put a chicken stew in the crockpot, read the rest of my book and had my mother hang up on me when I wasn't in a dark enough mood. Watching Lil run the mile a bit later. Phew. I also think a nap would be nice but that won't happen.

I did catch a nap today after I got back from the bank, but I'm upset that I took the quarter off school to catch up on the house and I'm still not getting anywhere with it.

Take one of those to a Starvin Marvin's in Detroit. Those places look like too much of a Chucky Cheese's to be titty bars. An elephant would fit in perfectly,

Don't. Get. Me. Started. Some 19-year old couldn't make change after I gave her $6 for a $5.59 order. She punched in $20 into the computer, and couldn't figure out how to get home from there.

At the FFFF we saw an elephant! There was a wedding at our hotel :)
