Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

What I highly recommend (and I'll see if I can upload a picture) is what the Friends of Hockey does for a dessert at our annual banquet. It's a chocolate covered cheesecake puck. The plate has two blue ilnes and a red center ice line drizzled on it. Very creative and tasty! :)

Home..

Felt like was gonna hurl. Left work. As soon as I got in the door and tool off the coat-puked in my mouth. Did that twice until I made it to the bowl and let it fly. Feel ichy now. Laying in bed.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Is that due to the weather?

yeah... the commute home is going to be a mess... too bad I'm starting to hit a rhythm with work today, huh? ;)

Somebody was trying to rumor that there was late arrival as well... but you can usually tell the validity of those things by the person who professes them.

Were you drinking the water at Patman's workplace?

Hey, goldy... re: your e-mail - yep.

Afternoon, Lodge!
Off I go to get my PT/INR for the week. My PSA to all of you - try not to have DVT; this is a ginormous pain in the arse.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Good morning.:)

Hey SB, Good thing you listened to your body and didn't try to run through the discomfort of a pounding headache. There'll be other days for running. Hope you feel better as the day progresses.
Thank you; last year, I'd have kept going and suffered for it. At least the headache is starting to wear off. :)

Need more caffine.

Or less...
Turns out, the answer was more. That, and additional carbs to soak it all up.

Good Afternoon All.
And a fine good afternoon to you too.

Afternoon Lodge; the headache has stopped for now. Done a couple loads of dishes, folded two loads of laundry, swept the floor, and wiped down the stove and countertops. And yet, it's not enough...

Literally? Glad you're on the mend.

The snow has begun..........looks like it's starting earlier than initially thought. I was going to put my car in the T garage when I got home. I still might, it depends on how much will be on the ground when I get home.

You need to watch Loretta Laroche who does a great thing on the 'Joys of Stress" and letting go. She is on PBS a lot and I bet on Youtube somewhere. Try and cut yourself a break.

First time in forever that I am not planning for something on the weekend. That is nice. So far I have neatened up a bunch of stuff I just didn't get to before, made blueberry muffins, put a chicken stew in the crockpot, read the rest of my book and had my mother hang up on me when I wasn't in a dark enough mood. Watching Lil run the mile a bit later. Phew. I also think a nap would be nice but that won't happen.
