Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

That's okay. I'm likely headed to the * hockey bar for other reasons.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

* the Evil Neighbor.

At the main building it's JackFM (which is okay, I guess) or Cities97 (NOT okay for a fast-paced environment). At offsite I crank the bejeezus out of 93X.

I listen to KFAN except for between 9 and noon and whenever barreiro gets too political. If not the fan, I go with K102.

At the main building, it's manager's choice, while at offsite, it's whoever is the main guy there. If help is needed, they cannot overrule the radio; which sucks when I'm sent to help the current offsite guy, since he listens to K102.

Hells yes.

Get me a stiff crown and coke or I'm burning down the *k hockey bar and shooting all its patrons

Eh, I'll have a drink at both tables. Adrian pulled their asscheeks out of the fire just in time.

I have a cold. I have a headache. I feel like ****. I'm going to bed.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Long trip to watch an uninspired hockey team lose to Brown. Sad thing is, Brown scored on a penalty shot, and a puck that TRICKLED about 1.5 pucks over the line. Ah well, now we get to be chewed up by Yale tomorrow night, supposed to be completely sold out already (including SRO/GA tickets!)

On another note, my cold has now moved into week 3, and has evolved into a pretty sweet cough to go along with all the congestion. Cross skiing off my to-do list tomorrow, bummed.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Nice effort by the boys tonight beginning with the Anthony Maiani feed to Kyle Ostrow nine seconds into the game to make it 1-0. That's right, nine seconds. Denver wins it 3-2 with Nick Shore beating two defensemen 'hoop around a barrel' with beautiful stickhandling and feeding Nick Shore for the game winner.

A terrible injury suffered by an Alaska player who went down to block a shot and was hit square in the head. Lots of bleeding and he was taken from the ice on a stretcher. I hope the young man is okay.

Adam Murray, an Anchorage native, played in goal tonight for Denver. Apart from an absolutely awful goal he allowed to let the Seawolves tie the score at 2-2, Murray played a solid game. Sam Brittain in net tomorrow as the Pios go for the sweep. Good night all.:)

Good morning Lodge.

One of the subs on my Rubes team is the intern Geezer. He's a really good, smart skater. We have another sub on our team from KFAN, too, but he's an office guy, I think. I don't know, I don't listen to the station.

Despite the best efforts of the refs, I am at the happy hockey table. How can a ref give one team eight powerplays and the other only one?
