No, she never actually moved in, apparently she was disgusted that I would be so cold as to charge her rent! How dare me. :rolleyes:

Haven't called yet, I was out with a group from work for a year-end celebration dinner last night and didn't get home until late and I'm not calling from work. I have no idea if we can make requests.

Definitely not like being there, but still not bad. Wags (Pete Waggoner) who does the play-by-play is a friend - former Edina West Cougar keeper.

Anybody know how to get rid of dam multi-quotes once you have added them? They show up every time I try to post!:mad:

In Omaha. I'm heading to Santa Barbara tonight. Long layover there tomorrow. Supposed to be 70 and sunny. Think I'll go swim in the ocean. :D

I would consider it, but it seems as though we're actually starting to put roots down here (and, at the moment, I am literally living paycheck to paycheck, so moving anywhere is out of the question). :eek:

We don't agree on much, but I'm 100% with you on this one. Unless you're living at home, you should be paying rent. I'd ask her to pay rent and help with the bills - electricity, gas, etc. Cable and internet - if you don't use 'em, you don't pay 'em, otherwise, fork over some dough.

I wonder if they will postpone it. It's going to be crappy tomorrow. I wasn't planning to go because apparently my presence at away games has been the reason for so many road losses. :) The impending bad weather just helped make that decision easier. Was hoping to see if there was any plan in place tonight - had a FOH board meeting, but I just got an email that the meeting was cancelled. Seriously, the snow isn't supposed to start till after midnight!!! *sigh* I'm in Chicago next Tuesday so I hope they don't re-schedule it for then.

I'm just ****ed because of work-related issues. I was invited to post for a position in the business unit I support. The new position would have been a promotion. I told my boss, she said she would work to see if I could get promoted to that grade level here in this department, which is ultimately what I want and would have been the only reason for me to move there (I really don't want to work there). So, I am in the process of jumping through hoops to prove myself so she can get the OK to promote me, which is idiotic, given the fact that other position wasn't asking me to jump through these hoops. Then, one of my co-workers left at the end of December. Her position was this higher grade level that I'm trying to get to. I was assuming they were going to post it at my grade level, but I find out it's posted at the higher one. And, that one of my other co-workers is somewhat interested in it. While I'm not going to go into reasons why I think she shouldn't be considered for it, if she gets it and vaults over me, I'm telling my boss I am quitting.

edit: its probably better off anyway, since she's all but said that she's following the lead of her boytoy and taking her talents to South Beach.

And even if you're living at home and you're gainfully employed, you should be paying board.

I agree with bbdl on almost everything. We have that kind of bond.

Agreed. Or at least seriously pitching in doing household chores, etc., if you're barely employed.
