Flew JetBlue to Denver and back for the FF. Very much enjoyed the flight/crew - fun trip (though I think I like Southwest a teensy bit better)

Finally home. Had to blast out to a baby shower south of Boston this AM. Life is seriously imparing the birthday lady's record~ Missed Patman's b-day :o With all the driving the thing turned into an all day affair. Wild snow around Quincy and then nothing farther down.

Another weird family event. Thought of Scarlet. 3 people brought babies who managed to take turns crying or whining to escape being still. Since when do you bring a baby to a shower with a sit down meal when it is going to go right thru their nap time. DOH. Leave the poor baby at home where it can crawl around, eat and sleep when it needs to. The event is not about which one of them is cutest. It is about the un-emerged baby.

The men sat in the bar until the food was on and then came in, sat at a table reserved for them to eat and then sort of drifted back and forth to the bar or talking in the back. All but my cousin the dink who they ignored and who just sat at the bar. No one can stand the way he treats his soon to be ex-wife or any woman for that matter. Too bad he is the blood relative. Don't think anyone would miss him if he were the one being divorced. He is piz zed because we have managed to include his ex-wife in everything including the stuff at his parents over Christmas. Seems he assumed that we would just ignore her. Ha! Joke is on him.

Oh and I have figured out what is so familiar about Lil's radio station. They repeat the word 3 times at the end of every phrase like when they do the word of the day on Sesame St. Only so much before I start to twitch.

we did the same to my uncle when he went on his little mid-life adventure. My aunt is a good woman with an incredible sense for things... they eventually got back together... but there were a string of holidays where he wasn't allowed near.

Sad for the hat. My cuz has been a wart on the face of the family for >20 yrs. Total Azzhat but everyone has sort of been dancing around it. Divorcing his wife after she had a stroke bearing his child and then lying to everyone saying she initiated it was the last straw. Now everyone actively talks about their feelings. Alot.
 
A new arrival is in the barn tonight. A 2 year old who's never quite been weened of his momma, they've never had the space to separate them at their place, so they're brought him here to break him of that habit, and to do more work with him here.
