You would think, with Tech as bad as they are, that our threads would be less active. Instead, we've still got new posters coming out of the woodwork just to express their displeasure.

Supposed to be going over friends' house for dinner but the GI bug struck there so staying home and having Fillet with red wine & shallot sauce, grilled asparagus with garlic, modified potato latkes, whipped sweet potatoes, caramelized onions and mushrooms. To start cheater appetizers (phyllo wrapped mushrooms for me, potato skins for Lil and shrimp for Mr). Dessert- chocolate mousse pie. Sad we aren't seeing our friends but OK with the menu :D

New Years Eve and I'm at the * hockey table. Go figure.

Bills are paid for the year. Change of clothes and I am out for the night. Normally people would say "Don't do anything I wouldn't do". **** that. It's New Years Eve. Do what you want to do. It's easier to get forgiveness than permission.

Happy New Year, boys and girls.

Pizza hut? I think somebody forgot that they are somewhere between NYC and Kittery. There are good pizza places out there. For god sakes, do it for the former New Englanders who can no longer get good pizza.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 127: So This is the New Year...

Absolutely no surprise that Denver beat Northern Michigan 5-2. Going into the game NMU was the ninth most penalized team in D-1. That ranking will move up after tonight's parade to the penalty box. DU was down 2-0 after two periods, exploded for five third period goals including four PPGs. Bear in mind that Denver's top two scorers--Drew Shore and Jason Zucker are playing in the WJC--and the Pioneers still beat the Wildcats like a red-haired-stepchild on the power play. I suggest NMU either learn how to stay out of the penalty box or vastly improve its penalty killing. An ugly win for Denver, as its play through the first forty minutes was lackluster, but a win nevertheless. Here's hoping Denver acquits itself more appropriately tomorrow night. Adam Murray gave up two PPG goals in net for Denver, but played adaquately other than that. Sam Brittain will be back in net tomorrow.
