Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

They're asian beetles and are clustered outside the front door (and I don't live in an apartment - I'm not some ghetto work-slacker like the forklift jockey). :p

Times the cops have been called on Bakunin: 1. On Hoven: 0
How many bugs are clustered outside at Bakunin's? A lot. At Hoven's? 1-2 moths that are now dead.

Hm. You were saying?

At Hoven's distrubances are so routine that it takes several gunshots before the cops are called, at Bakunins you turn the stereo above 4 and the neighbors complain.

At Hoven's the bugs can't survive the burning meth fumes while they thrive in the idylic surroundings at Bakunin's country home. :p

(Disclaimer - never been to either, have a vague idea of the general location of both.)

Good Morning Lodge
Either way, it's gonna be a hell of a party when you move in. We won't wreck the place, we promise. But there might be a TFLN or two resulting. ;)
Because mine was an absolute rager! :p
Put some volumizing mousse in your hair before you blow dry it.
I'll try that tonight.

I'm happy to say that I don't have an asian beetle problem at my new place. Next spring mosquitos will be horrendous, but that happens sometimes, its Minnesota afterall.

Only someone from Edina could look at Minnetonka and find bad neighborhoods. :p ;)

Good morning. As Denver had its first hard freeze a few nights ago, the temperatures hitting the mid to high seventies for the next three days will constitute our first stretch of Indian Summer. I hope everyone's workday passes quickly and that you enjoy the weekend.:)

BOO! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

I've tried the USCHO geek thing. Maybe I should just go for a hockey fan.

I'm totally crushing on the guy from the software company that's training us at work (going to all new systems at work, it is and will be crazy). He's a hockey fan, I saw him wearing a hockey related shirt. And he's from Canada, so he must be a hockey fan. Are there too many hot chicks in Canada that I'd have to compete with (based on some posts earlier this week)? Whatever, I'm a smokin' hot. He should totally want me.

If I were to date a Canadian, I'd tell everyone "I'm dating a foreigner".
If my junior high and high school memories serve me, there must be tons of hotties in Canadia, because I heard the phrase "She lives in Canada - you wouldn't know her" many many times!
It would be cool if you were to be able to use that line (with a pronoun change).

You forgot Go Air Force! Boot the Utes!

Was her name Alberta, and did she live in Vancouver?

Morning, Lodge. New Jersey hasn't killed me yet, but I have a Halloween party to go to tonight. Wish me luck :o

I forgot nothing, you ignoramus. And anyway, it would be GO AIR FORCE! SCALP THE UTES! since that phrase would drive the PC idiots to distraction.

Let's face it, if there's going to be any "booting" done this weekend it will be by the Utes at the expense of the Falcons. I'm still confident the Falcons will rebound by beating Army, New Mexico and UNLV to conclude the regular season, finish 8-4, recapture the CIC Trophy and then await a bowl invitation.

Have a good weekend, and gee, I hope nobody TPs your house because of the lousy Halloween candy you'll be distributing. :D

I'm going to get negged in the near future. Just a hunch.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

I'd like me some Asian beetles!

S'upp y'all

I just got the mental image of you fist pumping with moussed-up dyed hair and a sleeveless Von Dutch shirt.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

But its Halloween, shouldn't he have found a costume instead of dressing like the locals?

Did she cook like his mother, and suck like a Hoover?

Hi Lodge. I'm avoiding doing work, even though there's a ton I could and should do because on Monday we go to new systems and no one will know how to do their jobs anymore. Meanwhile, I'm awaiting the results of the costume contest at work. 7 people entered the contest, and the top 3 get prizes. I wore a hockey jersey and called it a costume.

If that was all you wore, I guarantee you'll finish in the top three.;)

I wore jeans 'cause it's Friday, and shoes. So my lazy costume got me 3rd place. Voting was based on money donations (goes to the United Way). I only put in $2 of my own, and voted $1 for a couple other costumes. I won a whole bunch of candy. Guess I won't have to buy any to pass out Sunday. Totally worth my lack of effort.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

I was pretty impressed with how my costume turned out last night when I was figuring out if I could pull it off. I wonder if the food coloring with dye my skin if I leave it on for too long....that would be interesting.

If you need white/silver hair, baby powder. Just dump a bunch in your hair and let it set for a while. I used it to go as Don Cherry one year.

And the scent of the baby powder will incite maternal feelings in the chicks. They'll be all over him!
